Saying goodbye

Hello again :) I was wondering, when you see one of your Past life mates (the ones you have lived so many lives with) can you recall feelings you shared in other lifes by looking at them at their present self? For example, I get this feeling of goodbye whenever I see a pic of one of my , what i like to call, very possible strong pl connection (I wrote a long time ago about this and I say very possible because I have some doubts but mostly all of them is that she is). The thing is whenever I see a pic of her in her teens this phrase comes to my mind "We had to say goodbye because otherwise we couldn't be able to make our dreams come true" and I get a strange feeling of sorrow and warm near my heart(even now when I'm writting this phrase i feel pressure and warm near my heart), could this be possible? Thanks again in advance :D

I think yes. I view my friends & family quite differently now. I feel like I know them on a soul level. Sometimes with my mum I don't just think of the memories from this life I think we've shared so much over 100's of years.

Hope that doesn't sound corney.

I think overall it helps relationships. I've sometimes had a strained relationship with my mother in law (& my mum) & sort of hope it gives me a deeper understanding to get over this.

It's a shame you feel sadness but hopefully you can workthrough it.

Typically, unusually strong and unfounded feelings of affection or familiarity (or even disgust) would be an indicator to me. We're talking outside the garden variety feelings of passion you'd get in your youth.

What I see and have always seen is a sense of familiarity and compassion. Of course one would think of those things as naturally occurring with members of one's family, but when it occurs with people one is only just meeting, it takes on a whole new aspect. I am fortunate in that everyone in my current family and extended family are some level of soul mate, meaning we play roles for each other frequently through each other's lives. Combine that with soul mates playing the role of some very close friends and I'm surrounded by a level of familiarity some do not have.

With that said, the most remarkable "introduction" I've experienced with a "soul mate" was my interruption of a conversation a woman was having with another man in which I had no doubt that she wanted to talk to me as much as I to her. I was right...and it was as if we each were asking "where do I know you from? Why and how do I feel so close to you? How can I feel as if I know you and we've just met?"

I made the mistake, as did she, of thinking our meeting was destined for a lifetime, and the realization that it was meant to impart an experience and impression and a sense of understanding over only a brief period was heartbreaking at the time...but over the course of years has provided a perspective of the great benefit our time together has given us. Sometimes the close relationships we receive and consider a gift are simply precursors to better and greater relationships and learning opportunities we'll receive later.
