WWII

Hello,
My name is Scot and I joined this forum today. I have always held what I believe to be past life memories of a man who was in the Royal Air Force during WWII. I have memories of being a member of a bomber crew and ultimately being shot down over a farm field. The drone of large propeller airplane engines strikes a chord with me that I can't put into words. The smell of wet clothing/canvas has always made me feel awkward/uncomfortable. I recently found out that the interior of many bombers was dark and contained mildew and smelled like wet/spoiled clothing. I do not remember anything like a name or a hometown, but I feel quite certain about it being the RAF. I want to know more about where these memories/feelings come from. I look forward to reading the posts on this board and learning more about reincarnation.

Welcome to the forum Scot,

Thank you for sharing your memories with us. :) There are a lot of threads and posts about WWII here - and many knowledgeable individuals who may be able to assist you on your quest for more information regarding the RAF.

I recommend having a look through the FAQ Section - there are some helpful posts and information there regarding past lives.

Enjoy the forum,

Ailish

Hi Scot.

I am also new here, and I have many separate notions of being other people, but coming here is the first time I have discussed such things in any detail - and doing so has lead me to some very interesting insights - don't be suprised if coming to discuss these things stimulates even more of these notions for you in talking aout it and thinking about it at length.

I believe that members of this forum must be part of a 'soul-group', we're helping each other along paths of discovery, simply for the act of communicating.

I feel notions of being a person in WWII. I was white, male and somewhere in mainland Europe, and I feel strongly that there was some association with nazism, and I have reason to believe that I may have been blind and with 'bad legs'. If this is the case, and if I was associated with nazism, then I would have been considered a 'degenerate', and this isn't a comfortable notion at all. I do wonder what this is all about.

Good luck on your path of discovery. I as yet also have many things to discover about this young disabled man and how he was associated with nazism in WWII.

Welcome to the forum, Scot! :)

Thanks for sharing. I suggest you use the search engine to find older threads about WWII. I'm sure you would find them very interesting.

Keep us posted on possible further memories.

Hello Scot and welcome - I hope you'll enjoy the forum :)

Thanks for sharing your past life memories - they're very interesting to read :)

Hi Scot -

I also have an airforce past life, though US rather than RAF. You'll find it useful to bring back memories just before dropping off to sleep; call up a memory/flashback you've already had, and let your mind freewheel. Try to recall the detail that comes while your mind is in this state.

And some questions - any specific memories of the aircraft? Pilot, co-pilot, navigator, radio operator, bomb-aimer, machine gunner? RAF in WW2 is well documented. By working on these memories, you may be able to narrow down type of aircraft, airbase, unit, and then precise details you your past life. Did you die in the farm field, or were you captured and taken prisoner of war?

For starters - which of these rings a bell?

Avro Lancaster

Handley-Page Halifax

Short Stirling

(four-engined bombers)

Vickers Wellington

Armstrong-Whitworth Whitley

Handley-Page Hampden

(twin-engined bombers)

Best of luck with finding answers - we're here to help.

I have memories of the RAF during WWII, but they were dropping bombs on us :)

I still get that panicky feeling when they do the monthly tornado siren tests or when I hear certain airplane engines.

Sounds are very evocative. I look forward to hearing more about your memories.

I also had nightmares of the RAF bombing "my" city.

But I'm not sure yet if this are serious past life dreams.

Interesting to see my WWII dreams from another perspective.

I haven't done much research yet, oddly enough I'm not so fond of WWII ;)

Hello Scot.

Welcome to the site. I also have a past life from WWII, but on "the otehr side of the fence". ;) I wish you luck in your search for further information.

Draco,

If, indeed, you were a German that was disabled in such a way I would assume that you have some...not so pleasant memories of German hospitals. ;)

Sincerely,

Laurasia

Hi Scot,

Welcome to the forum. Thank you for sharing your story. Do your memories come through dreams or do you 'just remember' things? I am always very curious about peoples' processes.

I remember the Blitz in London. I had at least one friend in the RAF shot down during a bombing raid - not good.

Do you remember being obsessed by airplanes as a child? The friend of mine who I remember from that life says he was utterly obsessed with old planes when a child - everything from bi-planes to Lancaster bombers. He used to make models, draw pictures, collect magazines and so on, which makes sense to me - although he does not believe in reincarnation. :)

Well, this is strange...

Now I read this I remember myself as a child.

And I was literally obsessed by trains, planes and automobiles from the 1920s and 1930s.

My grandmother had a small bi-plane standing on one of her book shelves.

That's what a plane should look like and not like those modern huge things.

I had the same obsession with cars, modern cars just weren't right.

This was what I called an automobile: picture.

I'm not sure if it's a past life thing, it seems I forgot a lot of my childhood fascinations.

Curious Girl.

I think I need a childhood regression to remember my childhood fascinations :D

Because that are the most pure past life indications.

My earliest deja vus were totally different than the past life memories I had as a teen.

I take some time to explore that, who knows what shows up...

Curious Girl.

My earliest deja vus ...
Sounds like a tale waiting to be told Curious Girl...

My childhood fascinations were horse riding, red shoes and tales about sword fighting and such. Go figure. :)
