Who are the masters

HI

Is anyone familair with this interview:

Who are the masters that Dr Wiess talks about? Are they the same as counsol of elders that Dr Newton talks about?

Dr Wiess says that during regressions - the masters talked through his patient Catherine and told Dr Wiess personal details related to his family life that nobody knew. This is what changed Dr Wiess from Skeptic to a believer.

Details were about his son whom had died, how his son's heart played a role, and other details about his dad who died.

Does anyone know who the masters are and what role they play in reincarination?

HI,

This older thread about Reincarnation and the Light might be of interest to you. Not feeling so good today, but maybe tomorrow I can reference a few other good sources for you.

The Gnostics also spoke of the Masters in their writings.

Hi smac2012,

The title of 'Masters' is a term which fits many entities in many planes of spirituality.

If you google '7 sons of brahma' you will find a lot of information on this subject.

Basically, the highest of these would have to be Sanaka, Sananda, Sanatana, Sanat-Kumara, Sana, Sanat-sujata, and Kapila. They are Avatars, and they are known by many other names.

Others are entities who have incarnated upon the earth, progressed sufficiently in a spiritual sense after many lifetimes to become Jivanmukta's, or enlightened beings of varying degrees. They eventually become Avatars themselves.

There is a saying: "An Avatar is, a Jivanmukta becomes."

To get the whole picture of where each of these fits in, you would have to absorb the works of Blavatsky. Notably "The Secret Doctrine".

The 'Masters' referred to in Dr. Brian Weiss' book 'Many Lives, Many Masters' could be any of these from any level of spirituality.

A Google on 'Council of Elders spiritual' may also help.

Regards

Merlin
