What does it feel like?

everyone describes past life memories to be so vivid, so felt, so much knowing. I have never had something like this trigger to me, which honestly so discouraging. Can someone tell me what it’s like to have a past life memory and how it differentiates between people?

Hi views, I've never had a very long and strong memory, just snapshots, knowings, a few paranormal experiences, and some communication with my spirit-guide. Most of the people in my life recall nothing while some people here on the forum seem to relive it daily, so the experience is extremely varied. The whole topic is avoided by most 'scientific' professionals and western religions. If you read Jim76, landsend, and/or tanker's threads you may come to understand that it may be a blessing that your lack of memory is a blessing.

In my case it's nothing different than a memory from the current lifetime since memories from a few Past Lives are my first ever memories in this life and just like the memories from this life the PL memories increase but don't feel any different in relation to the memories from this life

I think it is good and bad to have memories from a past Life. Good because it has made me religious in the sense that I Believe in the afterlife, that we don't really die - just our bodies. If I had not had my experiences I would have been an ateist. Bad because - with me - I felt difficult feelings in my past Life and by remembering those I feel them again. So they are not buried and one is at peace; it has been awoken. So far I have no other choice but to live with it and try to focus on my own current life, but also I am looking for answers in the past (my other past lives) in order to find answers. When I find the answers I think I will have Peace or at least know better than I do today.

For some people the life they have now is already enough to handle and to remember can come at a cost should they remember their past lives as it all could impose an additional burdens and a hindrances in their current lives. It is always nice to remember the good lives but not everyone gets lives like that unfortunately.

A big thanks to everyone that replied to me about this topic as it helped me understand things a lot better.

The odd part to me is a few hours after writing the first post on this thread, I got a really intense pain in the area that the person I believe I was was killed at. To me that was a bit odd especially with the timing. The pain wasn’t able to be stopped with pain medication, only going to sleep seemed to work.

Rather this just be an ache or some form of a memory the world shall never know. But, a second opinion would be greatly appreciated.

Again, thanks to everyone who replied :)

For me it's been both enlightening and slightly horrifying all at the same time. It's like remembering a movie that I saw a few weeks ago.

On one hand, seeing my past lives have helped me figure out where I need to be spiritually and where to go from here, but on the other hand it's shown me some of the darkest parts of humanity and myself. I've been attempting to make my peace with said darkness.

You'll get there eventually in your own time, but just be prepared for what you might find.
