What are your goals?

One goal achieved

I changed my mind about moving to Seattle, and an incident of gang violence changed my life and some of my goals.

Because of events in my town a year ago, that made me locally "famous" as a snitch and a photographer, I suppressed my manuscript for a while. I shut down my "past lives from hell" blog, and started blogging about events in my community.

However, since it's been a year and I'm still alive in spite of many death threats from two different street gangs, I went ahead and a) came out of the reincarnation closet on my blog on the local newspaper's website, and b) self-published my manuscript while I take up the search for a publisher willing to take the risk of publishing something that could blow up in their face.

Thus far, I haven't been run out of town for being a weirdo...

Breaking the Code of Silence is now available on lulu.com (that method was recommended by Rabbi Gershom). And, people are buying it. :)

My goal right now is to be the very best mom that I can possibly be. It's not a small task given the lack of example in my own life. However, I'm pushing on, moving right along. $$

Being disabled and dependent on friends for transportation, I need to continue finding ways to show my appreciation. I tend to be homebound, so I hope to volunteer with the local grade school as a tutor, and with the Literacy Program to teach adults to read. I plan to continue as an online creative writing mentor, which I’ve done for years. And I hope to continue contributing my advice, encouragement, and when appropriate, my poetry, on this forum.

My current goals right now are:

**switching career

**getting married to my current boyfriend

**children (hopefully 2) in the next couple of years

**more traveling

**helping more people in the world

**getting more into past live(s)

**see the meaning of everything in life

My goal this year is to buy a house for our family, it has been a dream of mine to have my own house. One of my goals also is to travel, I want to explore the world.

I am a mother of two and I'm planning to start an online selling business showcasing food related products and my own baking goodies.

My goals now: to give my daughters give education, comfortable life, i also want to try baking and learn new recipes for my family and to have a long term career :-)

This section is for introductions; however, when members post about themselves - what they usually post is what they have done, and physical aspects; i.e. 5' 4" - female, brown hair. :D Personally - I would like to know your goals in life NOW.
Are you in school? Are you traveling a lot? Are you a volunteer for some non-profit organization? Are you creating a company? Are you planning on writing a book?

What do you want to bring into your life in the future? What changes are you looking forward too? Getting married? Pregnant?

Thoughts - are powerful things. Making a list and documenting your positive goals -- can, years later, help you see just how powerful you really are. ;)

So what are your goals?
I need clarity, since I'm in the habit of thinking my true goals are too far out of reach. This is the perfect opportunity to remind myself that life isn't about the ultimate end, but enjoying the process of getting there.

For my daily joy and progress:

I write. Articles and answers to questions that resonate with my personal experiences and perspective. One day this will merge into publishing the book I am gradually compiling.

I mentor and coach. One by one the lives I am privileged to learn from (as we companion each other into alignment with personal callings and independence of cultural bindings) move forward on their own to create their own destinies. I anticipate continuing on this path and intersecting with many more lives along the way. Perhaps we will increase the saturation of hope and healing in this world together.

I create art. I link abstract images with inspiring quotes or ideas, together meant to draw out subconscious thoughts so they can be corrected or acted on. Reminders. Inspiration. Realizations. Transitions. I intend that this habit leads to collaborations with creative souls who also wish to help others discover an inspiring perspective and support them in shaping their lives.

And I am learning to choose a path that will allow me to make a sufficient income to invest generously in the lives of others instead of continually needing financial help myself. *sigh* Maybe this is what I chose to learn in this lifetime, because it doesn't come at all naturally for me, even though I know my path leads through this terrain. Goal: financial independence (or a far wider network of service-based mutual support)

Vent over. Clarity increased. wine**

Some of my goals are:

* To grow spiritually and find out more of my past lives and what makes me me

* To get out of my comfort zone and challenge myself more

* To be more at peace with myself

* To learn a few languages in addition to a couple i know a bit of

I have a whole bunch of goals, broken down into monthly goals, broken down into daily goals (most of which I don't get around to completing due to an internet addiction and laziness.)

My goals mostly revolve around my kids and my family, but as far as personal goals, it's the usual: health, weight loss, fitness, more self-discipline, books I want to read, languages I want to learn, businesses I want to start, that sort of thing. I don't care much about traveling because I had an awesome experience as a young adult traveling to a foreign country, and I don't feel like I need to do that again. Mainly I want to get back in shape and feel better about myself.

Already got married to the man of my dreams, and have two perfect and lovely children, so that is done (those were my main life goals) but I may or may not have another kid. We'll see.

OH! I forgot to mention that I intend to finish my autobiography this year (it really is as lame as it sounds, but it's halfway done already, and I think it would be a nice thing for my kids/ future generations/ perhaps my future life persona to have!)
