Watching With The Angels?

I don't actually remember this... but my mother told me that when I was around 3/4 I said to her..

"Before I was your little girl, I used to watch over you and Daddy (I was) up in heaven, with the angels."

My mother said she was both creeped out and comforted by my telling her this.

She said it was amazing because as a 3/4 year old child, I'd have no concept of death or having lived beforehand.
My mum has always described me as being her little miracle child because she conceived me just a few months after the death of her mother. She said that having a new baby to love, helped her tremendously because she was still grieving.

I don't really know if something like that could be true, but its a lovely thought.

That is quite a first post, to say the least. I am pretty open minded and believe that there are many different avenues we, as souls, travel. In the short time that I have been on this forum I have heard a few different examples and expect to hear more. I am sure you will enjoy the warm and friendly atmosphere these members offer.

Welcome to the PL Board Love2012. I believe your experience is genuine, and although rare can indeed be strong evidence for past lives. To recall what you were doing before birth is amazing. I think that these memories do exist in all of us, but we have either forgotten or can't tap the supressed memories. Thanks for sharing this : )

Glad you shared your story! To remember something from before you were born is amazing indeed. I'm afraid my earliest memory goes back to being in a crib, but the details belong on a different forum.

Because of my family’s religious leanings, I quickly learned at a very early age to watch what I said around certain people.


After a few close calls, I learned NOT to talk about the dreams I was having, that were possibly Past Life (PL) related.


Talking about my PL dreams would have brought a lengthy stern lecture from my devout Grandmother who attended her Methodist Church twice a week, was a charter member of her Church, was a member of the WCTU, well you get the picture.


What a shame that a family’s disapproval or disinterest of past lives could stifle a child from discussing their dreams or visions.

When my children were still very young (3 and 4 I guess), one day, after my daughter's question: where do babies come from?, I told them that mommy's sometimes have an egg in their bellies in which a baby grows (I don't remember my exact words). And suddenly my son (the youngest child) said : I remember when I was in the egg ! I asked: what do you remember then? and he replied : I just remember....


I didn't insist any further, but I do believe he had a memory flash of his existence before he was born (although you can't call that a PL memory or life-between-life memory).
