Tudor PL

Daydreamer

Dwelling on Philosophy
Hi,

I did a past life regression session a few months ago and I picked up a few brief memories of a life in Tudor England (around 1520-1550 based on the fashion or maybe mid Elizabeth I's reign). I was a man called Edward (or Ned) and my last name might have be Farrell or something similar.

The first memory is of myself standing on a grassy hill overlooking the sea with a large rocky mountain to the right, I'm there just watching the sunset. At the time I feel as if i'm in my early to mid thirties and I look down to see that i'm wearing dark brown hose, brown paned (slashed) upper hose and a matching doublet (also slashed).

The second memory is that I'm looking out at the moon from a little-used room in a tower contemplating something when my master walks into the room (apparently I stared at the night sky a lot so my master knew to find me here). He just came in to tell me that an important event was to occur at the castle/house where I served and I was to help prepare for it (I was some sort of high servant in the sense that I was an overseer of other servants). In that memory I can tell that my master thinks well of me and slightly fond of me, but would never indicate so since he is a stern and disciplined man (in his mid 50's to early sixties I think, and in very good health and shape).

The third memory is where I am sitting in the garden with Frances, my master's youngest daughter (around 16-20 years of age), and talking with her. I can tell we fancy each other but I've made no advance apart from sitting with her and holding her arm. At that time she had just finished sitting for a portrait (for a future marriage I think) and she was wearing a gold damask dress with her hair tied back into an elaborate bun.

The forth memory is my death, where I walk down the narrow winding (stone) staircase into the kitchen to see a group of 7-8 men in armor waiting. I ask why they are here and one of them stabs me in the left side of my abdomen with a sword or spear and I collapse and slowly die at the bottom of the stairs. I remember both feeling peaceful and noticing that the house was far too quiet as I was dying. I think the men were mercenaries of another noble and were maybe arresting my master or pillaging his house. They were also wearing some blue clothing (and maybe a feather on their helmets) with their armor (same shade, probably part of a well financed army). I also suspect they were French, I don't know why.

I also remember seeing a heraldic shield carved into the wood above a large doorway, but all I could make out was that the shield was divided into four quarters. Also I could sense that there was tension in the kingdom in the form of an uprising/civil war, but the style and furnishings of the house strongly suggest it was a prosperous time I lived in.

Anyway any thoughts on my PL are welcomed. I've tried some research but I can't find anything (it would've been nice to know my master's name), but I'm going in for another session as soon as I can so maybe more things will surface.

Very interesting, Daydreamer. Were you interested in the Tudor period before your regression? You got a great deal of detail. England was a dangerous place in a political sense during those times.

The French and British had quite a few conflicts with eachother, the civil war was where I indirectly came in 1642, the English civil war was not only a fight for religion. For us ladies, it was a fight to survive. The Royalist army attacked my home in Reading and slain my father infront of me, only my sister;Tanya and me survived the war. I remember Henry founded the Anglican Protestant church so there might have been conflict on that bargain.

I lived as a man named Richard, born around 1574, in England, Daydreamer. I am not quite a contemporary of yours, but there are several people here with Tudor memories. It sounds like your first regression session was a powerful one! Dating the memory from fashion might not be too accurate, as styles changed more slowly in the countryside. Henry VIII, and Elizabeth both had long reigns - by comparison, Edward VI's was merely a "blip", and sandwiched in between his powerful father and sister. It will be interesting to see how your story unfolds!
