The Unconscious Past

Hey, I've been wanting to do the following post for a while.

It happens that I remember that at the age of 12 years or so I went to a consultation with a psychologist from the region. I had few sessions with her but I remember that she used hypnosis to try to know more of the patients, although at the time and for several years I remained skeptical,. Lately I remembered a drawing that I made with her in one of the sessions. It was a forest of dark and six trees with a prominent path in the middle.
I tried to go to the psychologist with the hope of being able to see that drawing again, since although I have an excellent memory, the best thing would be to see it physically again.
Unfortunately, I was not very lucky to find her since she changed her office but more less it was something like that ...

All good, I did not find sense, I always liked the gothic settings. But a few months ago, I saw something on YouTube that caught my attention regarding this. It turns out that in a video of Nirvana, more specific in Heart-Shaped Box, I saw that there was an edition of Kurt Cobain cut, which I imagine was not seen until it was uploaded on YouTube or some other exclusive medium. Just as I saw it until not many years ago, the part that caught my attention is the following ...

Basically these frames are the ones that I remember seeing in that section, the child did not, but the scenario yes. Quite curious since at that time I hardly knew about Nirvana. In fact it was until a year later that I saw the song in the video guitar hero 2 game if I remember correctly.

I hope to know what you think as always on the subject. For me it makes me happy to vent all these doubts in places like this.
Greetings to all and I hope everything is going well.

The idea of a path through a forest has a long history. Travel from one town or village to another might involve going through a forest. Such things also appear in fairy-tales, where there may be wolves or witches or elves and goblins, sometimes a direct threat, other times as a form of mystical journey. The danger from wolves or bears or thieves was a real possibility, at least in older times. Personally I view a forest as a wonderful place, of sights and sounds which bring peace and joy, a place of safety and refuge as well. The path or road through the woods is a different matter, it implies some sort of journey to a new place, possibly an unknown or undiscovered destination. There is a possibility of becoming lost if the path becomes less well-defined, so one has to find a way through, or even reaching impenetrable thorn-bushes. There are many possibilities.

Edit: One more thought occurred to me. It's possible the image represents emerging out of the forest, into a clearing or an unobstructed plain. Thus it could suggest the ending of a difficult journey and a beginning of something more free and open. Again, yet more possibilities.

that sounds like really good interpretation, the situation that I forgot to add was the song in definition, I know you can find many interpretations of the lyrics and rhythms but for me I always represent a situation of position and view from the author towards people with certain lifestyles or point of view to the same life, as a feeling towards the free will of the human beings by name.
apart from the fact that as with several Nirvana songs, the feeling as an author towards the lyrics of other songs, but that would be another topic of conversation.
I repeat, I really liked the interpretation you gave it.
