See's things that I can't?

Hi Everyone

I was just wondering if anyone has experienced what I currently am with my daughter? She is just two and only talks a little so has difficulty in responding to questions.
What she does is reaches up in the air, touches things and draws them to her, she smiles and seems quite contented (but extremely focussed). If I ask her what she is doing she stops it and looks away - like she is almost embarrased? Any comments are welcome? Thanks.

Welcome Ngapuhi!!

My answer to your question is Yes. It has always been so amazing to me how children can see so much more of the spiritual world than most of us can-- their perception is not clouded with all this "adult" stuff we carry around. It sounds like she has made herself some spiritual playmates, which is what most of our parents termed "imaginary playmates." Maybe as she grows and learns to talk she will be able to tell you who they are!

Again, welcome!!

Hello Ngapuhi

Hi Ngapuhi!
I have experienced very similar instances with my youngest daughter Nicole. I believe it started when she was about 1 1/2 years old. She had very limited speaking skills just like your daughter. She would be playing and then all of a sudden, she would see something. She would look up at the ceiling and stare intently. She would watch it for several minutes. I watched her and it would slowly move around the room. Then she started saying, "mommy look" over and over as she pointed to the ceiling. She would slowly move her pointed arm as it floated around. I told her I couldn't see anything. She looked at me in an extremely confused way and said, "you can't see it?" She was puzzled why I couldn't see it too. I would ask her to tell me what it looked like because I couldn't see it and she always replied that it looks like an "O". She never reached for it as you described. In fact, she was quite startled by the "O" a few times. Nicole is now 4 (going on 5) and doesn't see the O's now like she did when she was younger. There is no doubt in my mind she was in fact seeing something. Even my husband, who is a total skeptic, was astonished by this. You had to be there to really understand. As a mom, when your with your child 24-7, you know it when you see a total change in their normal behavior. You might want to ask her simple specific questions. Ex. What color is it? See what she says and also take note if she continues to be consistent with what she tells you in the future. Let me know how she describes what she sees if you get the chance. I would love to hear more.
Love to you all,

My daughter is 2 3/4 and she also sees things. I always ask questions about what she sees. It's really improved her vocabulary and sometimes she really surprises me with her answers.

Thanks

Thank you so much for your replies. I will pay closer attention to what she is doing from now on and let everyone know the outcome.

sees things that I can't

Two of my daughters see auras around people. They are also aware when my dad (who died four years ago )is around as they either see him or they smell his tobacco smoke.

My other daughter sees white lights. I really have such an amazing family.

with love and light.

Yes I agree... You sure do have an amazing family! Do you or your husband have these abilities as well? The daughter that sees the white lights... does she tell you what shape they are? I wonder now, if my daughter Nicole was seeing "rings" or "balls" based on her description of "O's" as she called them. I didn't think to clarify that back then or if I did, I don't remember now.
Love to all, Gemdoctor

Balls of energy!

Hi there, I believe that your child is seeing spirit energy balls. After my two grandsons died in a car crash. I saw these balls of energy moving around the room.
there were two of them, and I was so scared that I screamed, and then I heard in my mind that it was my two grandsons, and they were sorry that they scared me. But now I know what this is and I am not afraid any more. Also my great-granddaughter, could see them when she was about two or three. But she would see them as they look on earth. Lorie

Lorie,
That's interesting. From the time I was a baby until I was about 16 I always saw figures and never orbs (energy balls). Now I see both. I assumed my daughter was seeing figures (like I did and your daughter did) until I was questioning her and realized she sees orbs (energy balls).

This thread reminds me of when my daughter was little. She saw spirits all the time and I later learned from a psychic that she was a receiver. But the first one she saw, I thought was an imaginary friend. Becca (my daughter) was always playing with "Victoria". Becca would always want two of everything so she could share with Victoria. One day, Becca wasn't playing with her friend and I asked her where she was. Becca told me she went to find her mommy and daddy. I asked where they were and Becca looked at me like I was so stupid and said "I don't know, they're dead."

That's when it hit me what Victoria was and I realized who all the other "friends" were.

Orbs & Spirits

Hi Chelle,& QaHearts,
Thanks both of you for your input. To Chelle, I remember that the balls of energy are called orbs, my friend who is a really good medium, told me that is what they were. Sometimes the unknown is so scary.
QaHeart, don't you love it when our children look at us and can't believe we can't see what they are seeing? I wish I could see what they see all the time. But I only see bits at a time. Lorie

Hello!
Has anyone out there or anyone's children ever seen rings of light rather than orbs? Just curious...
gemdoctor

I've never seen it myself, but we have a bunch of pictures here of my fiance's daughter Lisa when she visited her grandmother in Hawaii. The pictures are of different family members in different locations. I noticed all the pictures with Lisa in them had a ring of light next to her or above her shoulder. It couldn't have been the camera or where she was at because the light is in different parts of each photo and the pictures were being taking all over the Island and if Lisa wasn't in the photo, the light wasn't there.

sees things that I can't see

Ngapuhi thankyou for your reply. My youngest daughter who is 9 years old saw my dad in her room. She said that he was smiling and that he was rolling a cigarette ready to smoke and then he went. Quite often she is aware of his presence especially if she is anxious about something at school so I always tell her that he is probably just keeping an eye on her to make sure that she is alright and she is quite happy about this.

gemdoctor thankyou for your reply. I have never seen anything unusual but have quite strong intuition. However my husband has always been able to see things. My grandma had psychic ability and so did my dad so it is really not surprising that my children are able to see and sense things which the majority of people can not see.
As a family we are quite open about talking about a vast range of subjects such as reincarnation, astral projection, psychic ability etc but obviously it is not always possible to discuss these things with many people. Thank goodness for this forum.

I had a similar experiance with my oldest child who is now four, but this happen when he was not quite 2 yet. Dakota (My son) learned to talk at an early age, but at this point in his life still had yet to say the word "gramma". At that age he actually called my mom by her first name. This experiance happen near Halloween, my grandfather had just gotten sick and as a result was moving out of his home and in with a cousin of mine. During his move serveral of his things were given to family members. My mom had gotten a picture of her grandma who pasted away 3 years before Dakota was born. This photo was the only picture Dakota had ever seen of my great grandma. But when he saw it he walked over and picked up the photo in it's frame and said "that's grandma."
I looked at him and said "yeah your right that is your grandma." but then it dawned on me that was the first time he ever said grandma. Then I was curious to know if he had ever seen a picture of her before. My said she didn't recall even having any other pictures of her around the house, exect really old one that are put away.
Dakota was still standing loking at the photo smiling at it, so my mom asked him how he knew that was his grandma, and replied "She plays with me." after saying that he set the photo down and walked away.
I do know that even as small baby he would always look at blank walls and smile, sometimes reach toward the wall, and even start laughing.

Speaking about orbs, I don't see things, I feel and hear. I can feel things and describe them to people in detail just as if I could see them. Sometimes I doubt myself because I was raised in a society where people think things like this is crazy and imaginary. But every now and then there are times when I know what I'm feeling and hearing is true. My 2 year old grandson Ian was spending the night with me a couple weeks ago. We were all wrestling around, tickling, laughing when I felt an orb over us. I knew it was a child just wanting to play with us. I whispered to Henry that we weren't alone. That's all I said, loud enough in Henry's ear so only he could hear me. All of a sudden Ian started screaming "Fireball grandma, get up, get up, fireball's over here." He was terrified and we tried to explain the best we could to a 2 year old that it wasn't something to be afraid of. What confused me is that he was afraid of it. He's use to seeing things. He tells people how he talks to his grandfather (my ex-husband) and how he says "No-no Ian, don't do that.", when he's doing something he's not suppose to do. His grandfather died when Ian was 6 months old, so he never really knew him and no one every referred to him as Grandpa W______ which is what Ian calls him. So all I can figure is he sees his grandfather as a person and he saw the entity at my house as an orb and that scared him.

Orbs

Hi Qahearts, I know how he feels, I got pretty scared the first time I say two orbs bouncing around over my head. Now that I know what they really are I am not scared any more. Lorie

Hello there,

Would the circles my little girl draws, that are up in the air and whiz around (as she indicates they do) be these orbs do you think? What actually are they? She calls them "scaries" and sees them all the time...but does not appear particularly frightened?

Thanks

Ngapuhi, the circles she sees probably are spirits.
Today is my grandson's birthday and I called him to tell him Happy Birthday. He asked to talk to Henry and he was telling Henry about the fire in his room. Henry didn't understand what he was saying, so he gave the phone back to me. Ian asked me if the fire was still in my room because now it's in his room. Apparently the orb followed him home. I told him to tell the "fire" to go away NOW! and he started screaming "Go away NOW!" I told my son and daughter-in-law what was going on. The had no clue what he was talking about.

Dear QA Hearts

That sounds quite frightening. I hope as my daughters vocab expands she may be able to tell me in more detail what she sees.

Thanks for replying
Ngapuhi

You're not alone!

My oldest daughter SHianne also used to do those kinds of things. Come to think of it, so did my younger daughter, Taniah, just not as frequently.

DOn't be surprised if your daughter starts talking to her spirit friend when she becomes more verbal. Shianne had a friend named Pista who lived up in heaven, but she used to be married when she was alive and now she's a little girl who plays with SHianne.

My daughter spoke to her, and several other "friends" right up until she turned 5 and then it started to fade away.

My only advise to you is to pay attention. And don't ever tell her that she is "imagining" it, because chances are, she's not! :)

Tammy

Your so right,

Hi Tammy, You are right about not telling your children or grandchildren, that they are just imagining these things. Because I know when I was a child, my Mom kept telling me that it was my imagination, and I got discouraged, and not until I was older, about in my late thirties, did I started to study everything I could on this subject, so to understand what this was all about. Lorie:)

Thanks for that advice, sometimes it's easy to say "where or I can't see anything" if you are busy. She now sees entities and says they are there by the door or over there.

Cheers
Ngapuhi

I admit I didn't read through all of the replies but one of them caught my attention. The one saying they looked like "O"s.

You should try taking her photo when she reaches for them. From photography experience I've noticed that sometimes these little orbs show up in pictures even when we can't see them with the naked eye.

I seem to get a lot of them in my photos when I'm out doing living history events or those 40s style dances. I figure since a lot of the people there are wearing period clothing or these things are held in historical places, it "draws" visitors from more than just the present, especially when people are having a fun time.

Hi Medic!

Nicole doesn't see the "O's" anymore like she use to. That is a great idea too, I am sorry I didn't think of it at the time. Nicole will be 5 at the end of the month and has had "friends" that she talked to like Tamera mentioned. She use to have a friend named Barney. Most moms would assume their child was talking about Barney the purple dinosaur. However, Nicole kept saying she was going to miss Barney, which caught my attention. I asked why and she said he doesn't come to visit me anymore. She then told me Barney was her friend and would come and visit her, especially at night, in her bedroom. One time we were talking about Barney and I was asking if she ever went to Barney's home. She got really serious and said, in a very irritated tone, "I can't go to Barney's home. Barney can fly. I can't fly. He lives high in the sky with the light." She was irritated like as if I was asking a really stupid question and should have known that. Needless to say, I was in shock. Nicole is very sensitive to the other side. I had her astrology chart done by an expert. I was told she is quite psychic, a very evolved, old soul. She is an indigo child. She is very special. It is interesting, I knew it even when I was carrying her, that she was very special. :)

Thanks Medic - what a good suggestion, I will do that. Yesterday she busied herself drawing pages of her circles (orbs), when she had finished there would have been hundreds and hundreds of the things! All the same size and shape...

Hi Ngapuhi!

Does your daughter ever mention what color the orbs are? Let us know if you find anything in the photos. I am sure we would all love to hear what you come up with.
Gemdoctor

Colour of Circles

No,unfortunately she does not know her colours well enough to tell me. I have collected pages and pages of her circles. She did say something very strange the other day, I was talking about a friends dog that died and she came out with "when you die you go right up in the sky"and she stretched her hands and reached up high and said up there and then said see and she made a noise like wind and her hands moved really fast back and forth... I know this is going to sound ridiculous! She has never been told anything about Heaven so I'm not sure where she is getting it from?:D
