Romantic past life

First of all, I would like to say that I am not in any means trying to offend anybody in anyway by this post. It does involve sex, and I do know that some people aren't comfortable with discussing it or talking/hearing about it. However, I don't think that my thread is inappropriate in any way. I strongley believe that this is one of my past lives and would really like to share it and get some feedback!

It was late last night, almost midnight. I was still awake, sitting up in bed, unable to sleep because I was so stressed out. I was stressed and worried about normal highschool senior stuff: college application deadlines, scholarships, midterms, and tests. I started to go off into a daze, and at first I thought I was daydreaming but I know I couldn't have been. It was like I was right there in my memory. I could feel everything and could smell and hear everything. The memory was so vivid and detailed too.

The room was large, but dark. The floors were hardwood, with no rugs or carpets. There was a tall, big bed. The sheets on the bed were fancy, like silk or satin. Candles were all around the bed, scattering light around the room and onto the people on the bed. Long, heavy curtains hung at the window. They were dark colored. I could tell that the room was on the 2nd floor. There was a lot of noise from downstairs, talking and clanking of metal. The smell of food and coffee drifted up from downstairs. Overhead you could hear soft squeaking and creaking, maybe from walking? The view outside the window was as follows: a cobblestone street with horsedrawn carriages going up and down the street, tall brick buildings were across the street, and at the end of the strret you could only turn right. It was very bright outside, but there was dead leaves scattered on each side of the street.

On the bed there was myself and a man. I was in my mid-20s and the boy was between 19 and 22. I had long, thick, curly hair that was light color. I was pale and had pouty lips. I was skinny and had large breasts. The boy was very tan, almost the color of a light skinned mixed person, and he had short cut black hair and ice blue eyes. He was very well built and had big, strong hands. They were rough and cut, as if from working hard. We were making love. I remember that he was a wonderful kisser. He left a trial of kisses on my collarbone and up and down my neck. His fingers slid over my stomach and up and down my arms, leaving goosebumps. Throughout the whole love makeing I felt like it was wrong, yet right. As if it shouldn't be happening...

After this I was in some sort of a bathhouse. It was made of stone and there was one tiny window at the top of the wall that let in a stream of light. Hot water was pouring over my back and I was holding my hair up, so it wouldn't get wet. I remember that ringlet curls hung around my face and that I kept looking down at my feet as I showered. I felt guilty as the water poured over me. As if I had done something wrong.

I don't remember anything else from my memory/daze. There may have been more, but its just not coming to me. However, I did feel that I wasn't in America. For some reason I am being strongely pulled toward France. Perhaps it has to do with what happened in chorus today. Our teacher passed out a new song to the boys. It was French text. As soon as the pianists began to play the tune sounded so familiar. As if it were a part of me. Then my teacher started to help the boys with how to pronounce the words. I didn't even have a copy of the music and I was mouthing the words with her, pronouncing them perfectly. I have never took French before and I don't know anybody who knows it. I don't have any idea how I would know the words to that song or the pronunciation of the French words.

I do not think anyone should be offended. After all those are your memories as you remember them to be and you are retelling them to the best of your knowledge.

With that said, I think this is a beautiful and sensual memory. It looks as if though you were thoroughly enjoying the moment. However, it seems to be a forbidden and perhaps even tragic love affair. Your showering later on seems as if though you were trying to wash away some sort of sin. It seems almost like one of you was committing perhaps adultry. Either way there was guilt involved. What it seems like even more to me is you might have been involved with someone of a lower class than you. You were in a room with silk sheets and hardwood floors which might be upper middle class. The man you were with you said had rough hands that were cut. In the olden days farm hands, stable boys etc had rough hands. Even caucasian blue collar workers would have very dark complexion from working outdoors in hot weather and they would be very sunburned. In certain societies dark complexion was looked down upon b/c it denoted someone who worked outdoors doing some sort of manual labor. Perhaps you knew you could never have a future with this person, and were afraid of soemone finding out. How were you feeling in this dream? Were you afraid you might get caught?

It sounds rather exciting.. DO you think this person was from a time long ago?? when women had alot less say in their lives??

About knowing french.. sounds reasonable. Sometimes people do find they know some odd custom or language without having any experience with it, through past life recall. It sounds like you are having several triggers recently or is this something going on for awhile now?? Has there been any sort of change in your life.. wanting a new direction, problems with a relationship>?? Any sort of stress can make us more sensitive to our unanswered questions . I really beleive this is a sign to step back , do some self introspection and maybe do some regression work or just meditation around your life..

Have you tried any regression?? I have been doing self regression now for 15 years and it has been a wonderful tool of self discovery..

Soulfreindly

First of all, no I haven't ever done a regression before.

Second of all, I don't think I'm going through any change right now. I am under a lot fo stress with being a senior, taking college classes in highschool, and worrying about college coming up, though.

Obie,

Thank you for the information! It was very helpful and informative. There is no doubt about it that I felt guilty throughout my whole memory. I do feel like I was sneaking around during my memory. It was just a feeling that was present along with the guilt.

So, anybody else care to share their thoughts on this?
Hi,

Perhaps you could play with the feelings within this memory and let them build up to more detail. Trying to recall more detail, through what you already have sensed can act as a doorway to further memories. For example, you mentioned what he was doing to you in the memory; turn that around and remember what you were doing to him. Focus on the feelings and sounds. Were you whispering to each other? Were there other sounds? Were you being quiet so as not to get caught? Or was it care free lovemaking? In the shower, focus on the guilt and see if that leads to any thought memories. Are you washing away his touch or his scent, for example?

Just play with what your senses shared with you and let them build up in your mind.

Wulfie

Over the weekend I did what Wulfie suggested and fed off of my emotions in my memory. It didn't help me out to much, or I don't think. I did get the feeling of worry mixed in with guilt. I'm not sure what the worry was meant for...worrying that we were going to get caught, worrying that we weren't being quiet enough, I'm not sure. I just know that I felt worry and guilt very strongly. I also know that we were being very quiet and that at one point I breathed a name - Henry. My voice was ragged and low, but I could tell that it had a heavy accent to it. Very french sounding.

Hi,

When I am doing self regression I like to visualise a non- real freind---ie a person who I trust , but without the external hangups of someone I actually know. This gives me the feeling of being open to a direction towards getting help. I leave myself open and put out a call for guidance. In this circumstance , I often get a brain wave as to what to focus on next..

Near the beginning I pretended being with Carol Bowman or other people who had written books I really appreciated . This gave me the reassurance that I was not kooky for trying to remember my past.

I also try and make myself feel like a child--This puts aside some of my adult perspectives which can get in the way of feeling and understanding what is going on.

Were you deeply moved by these feelings?? Another thing I do is to watch what part of my body is affected by the overwhelming feelings. For example I would try and relax and would notice that I had a particularly hard time relaxing my head backwards. This feeling was directly tied in with a certain karmic pattern and through keying in on this I was able to remember what happened and reach out for love to get over the trauma associated with it. This meant looking at other things and putting the pieces together to find my peace.

Good luck.. soulfreindly

Hi Av&hilfan,

You seem to be getting the hang of this. Exploring how you felt in a certain situation is often a good way to get more info. Sometimes it takes a little while.

Sometimes the memories come all by themselves in a big rush, and other times, nothing for ages. It would be fair to assume that is was some kind of illicit affair. It will be interesting if you can remember what happened in the long run. Did it end well, did it end badly? No doubt it will come in time. Sometimes a little fragment will fit into a larger whole given time.

Does 'Henry' remind you of someone you know now?

Someone I know

Hi friends,

I finally could see someone from my past life...He was my lover in a past life and I could see his face in details. Very impressive!

I was in a romantic scene with him and there was so much love between us. I could feel it very strong. My great surprise was that he has features that I don't recognize (blond-red hair. nose and smile) but eyes...I saw this eyes very familiar to me, absolutely unforgettable: my actual husband.

It can be true? I mean in my past memories he was absolutely different, not match at all with my actual husband but the expression of his eyes (there weren't same color neither). Is how you guys recognized known people of this life? I'm so curios if it was a right memory or just I mixed up things.

I'll try to get more about this memory because, if it's true, maybe can explain why my husband and I recognized immediately when we saw each other and sorted it out difficult things like we were living in different countries/continents.

Thanks a lot!!!

Lizzi

Congratulations Lizzi. Well done.

... he was absolutely different, not match at all with my actual husband but the expression of his eyes (there weren't same color either). Is how you guys recognized known people of this life?
It can be funny how you 'just know' that someone is the same person, even if they don't really look that similar in this life. Some people say it is the 'eyes' - which of course are the 'windows to the soul'. Sometimes it is just the 'vibe' you get about that person - which again is the soul speaking to you.

I'm so curious if it was a right memory or just I mixed up things.
Trust yourself. It can be a bit confusing at first if you are a beginner at this, but by the sound of your excitement I would have to assume that you have had a 'true' experience of some sort, eh? :)

People are often surprised at how relatively easy it is to remember past life experiences, once you turn your mind to it.

Some people say 'If reincarnation is real, why don't we remember?' I always answer, 'We do remember, it's just that most people don't understand the experience and assume it is just their imagination'.

How did your experience come about? Were you using a CD, or meditation, or was it a dream...? I'm always curious about people's methods.

Lizzi
I usually go by how this person in my past life makes me feel about their position .. That is do they feel like a family member? , a freind? , a husband? , a temporary lover. ?? etc .

Through thinking of these different roles , I may remember more than one life with this person and this helps to reflect things for me to work on..I will see a thread of development and can see how I have turned out the person I am now.

Interesting ..<<<>MMM?? I seldom think of what they look like. This not looking alot at how people look ,could well be based on my fear . I have had people in my lives who used their attachment to how others see them { ie how they outwardly present themselves in their dress} to boast their power and get what they want and abandon love.

My method

Thank you guys for your answers.

My method to know about my past life/s is a mix between meditation and dreams. The first couple of time I concentrated very deeply and could see fantastic images. But later the self-sessions became less clear. I got a bit frustrated...but never gave up.

Then I realized when I meditate and sleep I had the answers I asked during meditation. And the dreams are much more clear and accurate (like to know which language I spoke when I can't actually speak or to have sensations on the skin).

I find this method very natural and easy. I'm still trying to push a bit images from meditation. But I'm very happy with that, having new exiting details every time. Lucky I have a good memory of my dreams, so I'm keeping a record of all of them.

Just a last thing to share about my dreams: I used to have dreams in the actually moment that someone (usually girls) were killed. It was a terrible thing and I could share that with many people and no one could help me. I told you more only if you are interested (I'm not quite sure if it is allowed in the forum).

Thanks again, I'll keep you posted!

Lizzi

Hi Lizzi,

That sounds like a very good method, especially since it seems to work for you. People often 'ask' for a dream on a certain issue before going to sleep and it seems to work well.

As to the 'graphic' dreams, you could start your own thread on that if you like, so we don't take this one off track - as it is about 'romance' and related subjects. Just try to keep it 'PG' rated if you can though - as many people read this forum, including some very young people.

I will just add that when I was a child I used to have dreams about being involved in various scary situations, battles and fighting and people being killed and so on. I was always very relieved to wake up and find it wasn't real. My parents would say these were 'just nightmares' and I did grow out of it, but now I wonder if some of these might have been past life memories? They were certainly very vivid and disturbing at the time.

Hi Stephanie!

I know how strong those memories can be, I have had a few of them myself. For me, it hasn't always been easy to explore them further, and I must tell myself to be patient and that it will come back to me, sooner or later. Like Wulfie said, playing with the feelings and trying to "see" from different points of view can be really productive.

One question: what kind of place where you at? Was it an appartment, possibly located over some café or restaurant (hence the soudns and smells of food and such?). Was it your home? Or was it a public place, like a hotel that served food downstairs?

Who lit the candles around the bed? Can you remember doing it? Are there any feelings of antecipations that you recall having, perhaps as you were lighting the candles?

As Obie said, it is a beautifull and sensual memory and I don't think it offensive at all. Thanks for sharing, and please tell if my questions help.

Lizzi, hi!

I have had that same feeling that the eyes are "the same", even if they look different... but as Tanguerra said, sometimes it is really beyond the way people look, it's more like a vibe really... I have some PL memories of my Gwydion (you can read about it here, if you like) when I don't even remember what he looked like very clearly, and yet I know it's him.

What great progress Lizzie!! How exciting!

I too saw my present husband in PL dreams and I just knew it was him. Our genders were reversed, though. I was a goldminer or prospector (don't think I ever struck it rich) and "he" was my wife up on a claim in the mountains.

W.A. HEART,

Thank you for your reply!

First of all, I feel strongly that the place I was in was a home.

The place seemed to be very nicely decorated, and I felt like I was the richer of the two in my vision, so I do believe it was my home.

I did some research online and I found out that in the late 1700 and 1800s that richer families would buy 2 or 3 story homes. The bottom floor would normally be used for a shop, store, or cafe. The 2nd floor would be the "living quarters" and sometimes the 3rd floor would have its rooms rented out, much like a inn.

As for the candles, I don't remember who lite them.

That wasn't part of my vision. And I didn't have any feelings towards them.
