Random Thoughts That Turn Out To Be Real Facts I Never Knew

Dana

Probationary
It's been a while since I last showed up here, but I just want to ask a question...

Have you ever thought of something random out of the blue that turned out to be something real and not just some random idea of your own creation?

It happened that one day I woke up with a random name in my head: Breslau.

After taking breakfast, I immediately searched for it and turned out to be a former German city during the time of the German Empire and the old name of what is now Wrocław, Poland. Thinking about my PL background, maybe I was born there a few years before WW1 but I'm not so sure about the possibility yet.

That was the first time a random thought seemed to make sense to me regarding the past. Did you guys have any similar experiences?

Yes this happens. I think this is a normal occurrence to everyone, conscious or not.

Some of the places that appeared to me at random are Schmallenberg(my pl self’s birthplace) and Eindhoven(my pl Dutch cousin’s house). There’s more but these are what I remember at the time of writing.

Yes, many times, although not recently. Most often with names for people or places. Sometimes whilst awake, or meditating, or in dreams. One that sticks out is the name Ballymena, which when I looked it up it is a town in Northern Ireland, somewhere I've never been. Not sure what the connection or importance of the name is however!

I try to think...I think it is only when I am in some meditative state which I can be at the same time apparently as I am doing other things, when the flashbacks happen. Then I "hear" words I don't even know what they are. Sometimes even here I have been given the answer to what it is but other times I am totally lost.

The most disturbing thing of all was me experiencing a past life where I revenged a man with huge arms for him raping me one time in the past, by cutting him in his throat under water, a struggle for life and death. As this battle went on (I was stronger and more use to water than he was UNDER the water, never above as he was this huge fellow and I was thin and kind of small sized) I heard lots and lots of words I don't even know; I think it was a form of praying or a spell, actually. Completely different language. Not American. I still don't know what that was.

It could be that past life me thought this pray or spell while I battled him, that it gave her strength to continue.

In that life I also remember sitting in a warm kitchen with a lively bunch of colored women and they were partly up to preparing or joking around with chicken bones and what have you. Think it was black magic. Think we were in New Orleans where my real mom came from. But still -- black magic spells in a total different language ? It is still an enigma to me...If anyone knows what this is, please let me know.

It is kinda frustrating when you know a different language during meditative state but then when you get out of it is soon gone. I don't even know how to spell those words, if it was even words.

Based on what you described, it could have been some kind of Creole language.

Hi Klaud ! Thank you : )

Now after having read about from Wikipedia I realize it could very well have been creole (minus the french) (Link Louisiana Voodoo). There was nothing french about it on the sound of it in my memory, which was what my prejudiced mind thought creole sounded like.

One surprise to me is this: In my most recent past life I was said to give people who meant something to me unusual gifts for them to wear, for protection, for friendship etc, it could be a ring, a charm etc. Because I spent part of that life in showbiz it turns out some of these people, also in showbiz, did not forget past life me having done that and would mention it in books etc, as if it had surprised them and that they had treasured what it now was what she had given them.

When now reading on the link Louisiana Voodoo it says "Unlike their Haitian counterparts, the slaves in Louisiana did not rebel in great numbers against their slave-masters. Instead, Voodoo followers used amulets and charms in their daily lives. The people used them mainly for healing, protection, guidance, and to keep a connection with their loved ones. Some charms were used to hurt enemies, and involved the deceptions of curses.[12]" I had no idea !

Perhaps I took this little habit with me from the other past life without knowing it ? ;)

I am somewhat confused at times about my black magic memories from the 1920's as it is to the present me in "opposite" direction of the memories of past life me having memories of her parents in church, but when reading that a touch of Catholicism and Jesus Christ was also mixed in with the voodoo I realize that to some they did not stand so far apart from one another.

I can't help from my memories though to think the voodoo knowledge was something past life me kept or mostly kept from her Papa and her German-Irish Roman catholic husband. One time I saw her being up to something that to me suspect it was Voodoo but when hearing her husband and as he came into the bedroom she had quickly hid it with her feet underneath their marital bed.

I do remember one time as she was walking with her husband on a dry, warm summer day; when she discovered and join other women who did a rain dance. She had explained the meaning of it before, I think her husband just thought it was something forbidden, exotic before. I remember her also wanting to combine her teachings with his, as when he sat down on a bench, she took his hands together as if directing him to pray, before she joined in with the "rain dance". He was not prejudiced then, he had a warm and compassionate smile at her at one point during her dance; as if he just enjoyed seeing her free and one with herself, no more hiding.
