question about pregnancy?

Dreams and spirit
i am having some trouble today thinking about my pregnancy (and the birth of my daughter who is now nearly one. ). I delivered and carried her alone, and thought of adoption but couldnt do it in the end...i trusted things would "work out" but they didnt..and now i am with a man who is causing me alot of trouble,(her father) and in another country. i came out here becaue i felt i had no other options.

however, i love love love my daughter to death. i was wondering if you all believe that if somoeone gets pregnant, even the father is less than...good....if it is meant to be without a shadow of a doubt?? i am just having an off day and wondering if it is alllllll just random or if there is reason for this....i just need some reasuurance today..

thanks:angel:

According to Michael Newton's books, everything happens for a reason, especially concerning the births of children to people. Hope that reassures you

You should keep her. I heard from the Dalai Lama before that even thought her father may be less pleasant but she is a different person so it is not her fault in any way. Imagine if you give her to adoption; the poor girl would grow up thinking that her parents never loved her. If you do keep her, she'll at least know she is being loved and who knows she may even surprise you in the end. Just remember, we're all God's children and everything happens for a reason.

PS. So sorry, this coming from a 14 years old who has practically no life experience but I can't stand seeing poor kids at orphanage.. And this is all PL related to me.

Kiyoko, in my mind, the father provided a genetic aspect to the child's creation, but like you, the father, me and everyone else breathing oxygen here on earth, she came here to be born because she chose to be in this situation at this time to experience all that this lifetime will provide. That includes the difficulty between you and the father and whatever resolution comes of that situation.

Your responsibility is for your child's well being; food, shelter, clothing, security, love and compassion. If that is better found elsewhere, so be it, but it is also possible that a life lesson chosen before you incarnated was to find a way to support this child despite the difficulties involved. It is worth noting that while you both (mother and father) have a responsibility "to" your child, you are also responsible "with" your child...a fully formed soul incarnate in your daughter who chose to have this adventure on this plane as did you and the father. As she grows up your responsibility "to" her will wane as she begins to take care of herself, while your responsibility "with" her will continue unabated.

You are blessed with a lifelong relationship with this child; her choosing you was no mistake, accident or coincidence. Your free will enables you to make the choices that are best for you and your child...as you both planned.

As Usetawuz said, we all chose to come here. Your child would have planned this life and agreed to incarnate into it, like all of us. I believe 100000% that all incarnations on earth are for a reason.

Everything happens for a reason. Your daughter choose to join you in this life, and you on some level choose to be her mother - even if the father is only in the picture some of the time. That is a very special connection, and reading the dream you had about her before she was born, I'd say you've both been together before. :)

If everything happened for a reason that would imply determinism. If that were the case there would be no free will and we would just be pre-recordings of a higher being's wishes.

SOME things happen for a reason. Other things do not.

I am going to go against what most people have said here, but a highly spiritual person once told me that karma/things "happening for a reason" should never be the reason for us to do something, or not to do something. We each have our own lives to live and making important life decisions based on metaphysical speculation is unwise IMO. I don't know you or much about you situation, so I can't really give you any concrete advice, but at the end of the day you will have to make your own decisions and I hope you will be able to make them in the best interests of yourself and your daughter, and not merely because this or that New Age author wrote X,Y & Z in their books.

thanks
