Psychics v/s Dreams

Dreams and spirit
Hi

I have a question. Actually, it is not really one question in particular, but I would like everybody's input. Thanks :) :)

I have been to psychics (not the fake ones but really reliable and hard to get into to see) spiritual advisors. I am now 37, I have been to them off and on throught my whole life.

Every single reliable one, which there have been 3, stated I have past lives in Japan. Physcially, I look half Asian. My whole life I have been asked "who is Japanese, your mom or your dad?". Neither one is. Inside, I have always been Japanese-like as well as my mind, etc. I picked up the language very easily when I went to college, and also in Japan.

The problem is , my dreams. I have had three very real past life dreams, I know they were past life dreams because of the feel and also the history , which I had no idea about, I looked up online and it was accurate. Two were I was Indian (once an Indian man in Somolia and once a indian girl being naughty on her moms lap !!). One other dream I was a man, with red hair (i dont know how I knew this in my dream) stuck underground as a POW in Korea. I kept saying in my mind "why am I still here..its 195(?)) the war is over !!!

Ok. But NO Japan dreams. nothing. notha. Accept when I was pregnant with my daughter, who is half Chinese (her father). not japanese. I dreamt she was in water and was holding out her hands to me saying "Kiyoko, Kiyoko " !! over and over, which I later learned meant "holy child".

My question is, if I have been Japanese and even it shows thru in this life, why I have never dreamt of it? Why my dreams have been of being a white man, and Indian man, and an Indian child?

Thank you so much !!! your input means alot:thumbsup:

Although these are excellent questions to put to one's psychic advisers, I would venture to say that they are unanswerable for the rest of us. Suffice to say, however, that all of us have pretty much the same questions, which—for most of us—remain unanswered. But, by pooling all of our knowledge, experience and resources we have some means of speculation which leads us to the following theories:

  • That we have probably all lived many hundreds if not thousands of lifetimes in nearly every human form, sex, nationality and human condition.
  • That we each have unique and personal reasons for living each life as we do.
  • That aspects of our past lives leak into our present lives for some unknown reason, and that it is not just in the way our physical appearance presents itself, but that it is also in the way we think and make decisions.
  • That our ability to remember or dream of certain past lives is very rare and seems to have no consistency.

Although I have no right to speculate as to the why of your questions, I would agree that some aspect of your past is, indeed, Japanese; but that it is also Chinese, North European, Native American, Samoan, South Asian and African. And, while your attraction is to things Japanese, you are also a unique mixture of every other culture. I am personally not of the opinion that dreams are a very good indication of past lives, for the function of dreaming is much more involved. But, I also believe that whatever dreams do contain past life clues are rarely remembered, and that dreams that are remembered are only the last ones that occur before waking

One reason you may not find anything particular about a specific lifetime is that it may have no direct impact on your current life experience. While I am aware of dozens of lives simply from opening the doors during pl meditations, there are only a handful which have particular importance to my current life and those are the ones which provide me the greatest perspective and guidance.

Also your affinity for things Japanese certainly provides significant clues to your ties to that culture...it may be that you are so familiar with it all that when a past life clue comes, its familiarity takes away any possible "aha" moment...you see it and know it as a matter of course.

I wish you well on your voyage of discovery...it can be very rewarding.
