Possible memories as a WW1 pilot

When I was about 4-6 years old, i was obsessed with WW1 airplanes.
I would draw them on my papers at school, Creating elaborate dogfights with all the different types of planes.
When I was older, I would take out books from the school library about the planes and history of WW1.
I make many models of them with paper or balsa wood.
I remember having vivid dreams when I was young of taking off in the cockpit of a Sopwith Camel and flying around.
I remember the aerial perspective of looking down on the trees and it looked so real.
This a passion to fly helped me become a pilot later in life.
I eventually built a full scale WW1 airplane and I fly it around at a local museum.

I once tried hypnosis to see if I could remember a past life, but I don't think i was able to be hypnotized.
I would love to learn more about how to find out if this is a past life experience or just childhood obsession.

Hi, Jeff b.

It's normal to fail in the first attempts to do a hypnotic PL regression - you should insist.

Everybody is able to be hypnotized - you should only find the right hypnotherapist and technique.

Maybe try youtube video clips with self-hypnotic meditations. Just search youtube (NOT Google !) for smth. like 'past life meditation/regression'.
Search those who fit best just you. Be patient.
Basically, it's all about cheating your subconscious into making it unblock a little your PL memories. No magic here. But do as if you believed in magic during these regressions.
If you are told smth. like "And now dive into that mirror..." - just "dive" and go on listening...

The language, intonation, accent, voice tember - so many details that matter for a successfull regression.

Good luck !

Take care.

Wish you all the best.

IMHO.

Welcome to the forum, Jeff b!

While "just childhood obsession" could be possible, why would a kid obsess over WW1 airplanes of all things?
You also had these dreams which possibly were PL dreams.
Hope you'll find a guided meditation/method that works for you so that you can retrieve the memories you need.

Hi Jeff Interesting post.... IMO you are only at the beginning of understanding what all of this means ... An obsession is one thing.... past life memories are another

Again IMO ..if you continue the search as you this physical entity you are in for a long and unfruitful search It's important to remember that you this physical entity of this incarnation has nothing to do with these memories...It was your soul/spiritual self who occupied the physical entity associated with these memories is where the memories are

A long time ago I posted about my spiritual self's WWII memories of the death of that physical entity in a F4 wildcat fighter which maybe of interest to you on how many memories our spiritual selves can have Our spiritual selves are us in spirituals form so it's normal to experience memories as ours.. but never forget they are not the memories of the current physical entity

The following is a shortened version.....

From the age of 4 and up until I was around 6-7 I had a reoccurring dream/nightmare... It took me until I was around 16 years old to fully comprehend the dream ... my younger brain was not old enough or experienced enough to fully comprehend what was going on ( and is why I have always questioned complicated past life memories of young children).. from my experience it's not possible

When I was an adult my parents told me I freighted the crap out of them each time I had the dream/nightmare ... they told me it was terrifying to watch and they discovered it was best to leave me alone and allow the dream/nightmare to finish.. The proof that young children do not have the capacity to understand complicated past life memories is... when my parents asked me what I was dreaming about all I could tell them was .. There was a lot of noise and I was really scared and that my sheets felt very hard as I was waking up.. they were my understandings of what happened

I won't go into great detail how I knew it was a F4 wildcat.... other than to say ... I have memories of lying on the flight deck of a aircraft carrier sunning myself with my buddies.. from that memory I searched which aircraft American aircraft carries had during WWII and found the planes and amongst them was the F4 wildcat and that sparked plenty of emotion .. Then I searched and watched various training films of F4 wildcats during WWII and everything was more than familiar especially the cockpit gauges and there layout and the insignia on the wing of the F4 wildcat these were all very clear memories ... always remember these are our spiritual self's memories ... not ours the physical of this incarnation

My most vivid memory of the cockpit gauges and there layout was after I crashed they were covered in blood

What was the dream/nightmare ...

I was flying along with no feelings of any stress .. I have no memories of any other planes ...then all of a sudden the side of the cockpit canopy was broken... I'm not sure if it was shattered or only holes .. all I know is something happened .. I had pain in my let arm and shoulder and blood was seeping down my brown flight suit.. The plane was in trouble so it must have been shot up pretty bad ... I wanted to bail out but when I looked down there was only jungle and/ or very heavy coverages of undergrowth and trees making it a dangerous jump ... I looked around and saw a river not far away ... So I made for the river to land on it... The next memory I have is the cockpit canopy fully open and making an approached to the river to land.. I hit the water with an almighty bang and that's properly were there was a lot of noise came from I told my parents

The plane stopped I was in a panic .. I have memories of screaming...get out... get out... get out.. but I couldn't metal was wrapped around my legs trapping me in the plane .. I tried to un trap myself ... the metal was sharp as I tried to free myself and I ripped my hands to pieces covering the cockpit in blood.. I was screaming and screaming and screaming .. my last memory was seeing the brown colored water as the plane sank... far from a heroic death.. My parents watching my reactions to that must have been what terrified them and why my sheets felt like metal

The point I'm trying to make is.... there is very likely much more to your memories .. You must mediate and connect to you spiritual self where all of the memories are... It's not easy and can take plenty of time, perseverance and patience In the end its very much worth the effort to find these memories

Good Luck

John Tat,
I am familiar with your story.
It is one of the reasons that I started looking more closely at my own memories, dreams and obsessions from my childhood.
My thoughts about flying are more positive.
I doubt I was killed in a plane in the past.
When I watch videos or look at a model of a Sopwith Camel, the feeling I experience is different than when I am exploring other WW1 aircraft.
Something reaches out to me.
Can't really explain it.

Hi there :) Sounds verry interesting, your story actually reminds me of my own.I think this could’ve been a past life,I wish you luck with finding a good regressionist or maybe one day being able to hypnotise yourself.Maybe there is a video or method out there that will actually help you.I’ve also tried self hypnosis for past life regression before and it didn’t rrly work for me either but I feel like there has to be something out there.
