I had a vision of earth and my vision honed in on just North of the Black Sea. I was a young asian woman with a round face and long dark braided hair. I was dressed in a winter coat with a fur-lined hood on my head. My coat was embroidered with bright yarns (I can recall red and yellow).
My vision started with me outside my home, which was a one story, one room white structure with the land behind and to either side of the structure fenced in with waist high rustic plank fencing. I got the impression there were animals fenced in (maybe llamas or something like that). Looking around, I was standing on a dirt path and there were three other house structures like mine. The terrain was FLAT for miles with some trees poking up. It was winter and cold.
I walked into the structure and it was one room inside. The floor was dirt and I got the impression I was either poor or a nomad, new to the area. To the right of the door was a wood burning fire place and an older woman sitting on the floor in front of the fire doing something (maybe cooking or fiddling with something). I acknowledged her and she smiled. To my left was a makeshift sleeping area of straw covered by carpets. The rugs reminded me of Persian rugs. There were maybe three rugs on the bed of straw and another two hanging on the walls opposite the front door. The room was warm and smelled of the hearth and I got the impression I lived there with the woman who was my family (grandmother or mother).
I tried to focus on what I did in that life, as a job or what my duty was and I was transported to a vast hole in the ground. It looked to be an abandoned mining operation and reminded me of a limestone pit. I didn't see anyone working but got the impression there were people who worked there.
I also, and I am not sure of the significance of this memory, got a flash of being on a shore and there were a LOT of fish. Like you would see when they brought fishing boats in. I got this gross feeling about being around and having to touch all the dead fish.
Anyhow, that's all I could recall for now!
As some background that may or may not be related to this past life...
- I have always had a fascination with this region. Particularly, I have this burning desire to experience a Turkish Bazaar before I leave this world. I have always wondered if I had a past life somehow tied to this area. I endeavored to learn Farsi in my early 20s and picked it up quite easily, meshing into the Iranian culture seamlessly. I even had people I know from this region tell me that they are surprised at how naturally I fit in to their culture and understand their traditions. I have also been told I look like people from Azerbaijan and could easily be mistaken for being from there. My birthday is the exact start date of NoRooz celebrations. The music, the foods, everything about the cultures in that area feel natural and comfortable to me.
- I also hate fish. I can't stand eating it, smelling it, and seeing it. I love the shore and the ocean, but can't stomach sea food.
