Need advice on Past Life Dream

Hi all, I am new to this forum. I would like to get advice from experienced people here on past life dream.

Basically, about a decade ago, I had a strange dream of the life of a girl who live in the 1920s. The whole dream is like watching a movie.... which really never happened to me. This girl was in her 20s and is from a rich family, she and her servant goes to shop at the street where there are many people selling things by the street. This is where she met a man who sells painting by the street and they fell in love because of their common passion in painting. The girl's family soon found out and lock her in her room. She was devastated and in a moment of despair ... she committed suicide in her room ....Its strange as I can feel all her sadness and emotions despite this is all a dream...

Another weird thing is that everyone in the dream, including the streets, the building architecture are from the same historical era.

Anyway, after that dream, I never did have any recurring same dream again although I can still remember every detail about that strange dream. Then last year I met a guy online and I find him extremely familiar but just cannot remember where I met him. I scan through my entire phone contacts and facebook friends list but realised he is really not someone I know. He started to text me and this is when I dreamt of the girl's lover (the same scene which she met him in my dream 10 years ago)... I would never expect a recurring dream to happen after almost 10 years. The strange thing is that whenever he stop texting me, I will have flashback memories of the promise the girl in my dream made that she will reunite with her lover in the next life. This has been happening for almost a year .... and its torturing me.... I cannot get too close to him because I am already married......

Someone here please advise what should I do??? TIA

Are you and your husband happy in your marriage? Or were you before this man?

My hubby is a good man and we are rather compatible with each other. The only problem we have is that I do not have any romantic feelings for my hubby since we dated, we hardly even kiss. I thought feelings can be developed over time but after getting married for 5 years, my feelings for my hubby still stays the same.... tbh I never think this is a problem as I do not have feelings for other guys also … .... until I met this guy online (in fact in gaming). Its really strange, I do not know this guy, not his character neither his looks but for no reason.... I feel very very drawn to him and he give me a strange sense of familiarity..... I think of him everyday and this has never happened to me before. Now, I feel really lost...….

This sounds more like a "Dear Abby" question rather than a reincarnation question so I will respond with what I'm feeling. I very good rule to live by is to never be in a relationship that you feel the need to keep secret. Beyond that, your "awakened " feelings would seem to be a welcome experience which I'm glad you are feeling as they are important, I hope that you find a way to experience them within the bounds of your marriage if possible as it is far less complicated.

I am rather inclined to agree with Ken. It sounds as if you might even be projecting your buried romantic feelings for your husband onto a stranger who you have never met (safety?). Why would you subconciously need to do so? There may be a reason. Perhaps he has never seemed welcoming of romantic 'slushy' overtures. Maybe you both got used to only expressing your love as mainly friends (with some 'benefit'). If you think he wouldn't like long lingering full on kisses, or that you wouldn't, you could try him out. A real knockout kiss out of the blue for no reason.
The stranger might or might not be your past love. If so, then it may not be meant to be in this life. I know from experience that can happen. If you push it, it can go very wrong for both because you both are different people now with other life experiences. We can look at the past with great fondness and even deep love, but we can't pick up where we left of because we and our lives have changed, our wants and needs and duties have changed. We have to live in the now.

If the stranger is your soulmate it still doesn't mean you will be happily together this time. When soul mates can't be together in a life, they still do usually somehow make contact - as if allowed to re-assure each other they are still around and will re-unite in a future existance here or wherever.

Remember though, he IS a stranger. You don't know HIM. You only know what he says and what he claims about himself.

If your marriage had been deeply unhappy and ill suited before, then I would still have said to be wary, but my advice about showing your husband those latent romantic feelings would have been different.
You and your husband like and love each other, even if never too romantically. Like AND love is quite a rare gift to treasure.
A lot of people love but dislike each other. Painful disaster.

My own view of being in a relationship and having friends of the opposite gender is - don't. A bit of a temporary bad patch that any relationship goes throughwand it can lead to temptation that wrecks what would be ok again.

Remember what your parents no doubt told you. Don't talk to strangers. Of course we adapt that to adult life but the meaning is there.

I hope replies here help you and best wishes.

Thank you guys for your advices. I will definitely not have an affair just because there is no romance between me and my hubby. Lol, I will take my marriage issue as a separate issue and work it out somehow.
Anyway, just to add on. I treat this guy I know online as a brother because there is so much similarities between us that it seems rather crazy... From our weird habits, food preference to music, interest and even life experiences. I am really shocked by this guy's existence..... I believe if reincarnation is real, he should be someone close to be in my previous life.
