I've contacted an astrologer about doing charts for me and Stevenson. Will be interesting to see how that turns out.
My life has been spent pretty much with my own thoughts because there was no one caring to hear what I had to say. My reading has been fiction, with the exception of education text books, and those on history, which is one of my loves.
I've had relatives 'get' religion and tell me I was going to hell for my beliefs, then they'd meet someone, and suddenly started talking "soul mates" and detailed past lives with that person. To me, they were what made reincarnation a joke.
As I've mentioned somewhere here, my belief in having lived before and will again started with birth, and with no outside input, has pretty much evolved to a conclusion on its own. So far I'm not aware of any conclusions for living life after life. I have heard people talk about going to some school after death, where we'll spend maybe decades going over our past life for every mistake we ever made. To me that was senseless. Their conclusion is to become perfect enough to be with god.
I always fear offending people with maybe not what I say, but how I say it. I've worked hard on that, but I know I have pretty strong opinions, and while I don't mean to sound like I think my view is the right view, I'm afraid I may at times.
Normally whenever I'd start feeling this way, like the gypsies, I'd fold my tent and slip away into the night. But I like it here, and I like the people. And if I offend anyone, I hope they'll let me know.
