My memories.

I bet you've all heard of Anne Frank, but I'm going to tell you anyways. When I was younger, I remembered I grew up with a good family, and a best friend named Hanneli. We rode bikes together. Then I had to move because of the Nazis. I moved into "The Secret Annex". I could never go outside again, and I especially missed the outdoors. In my life I'm living now, I always thought these memories were dreams, but in 8th grade (I'm not in 8th grade anymore, obviously) we learned about Anne Frank. I realized that what I thought were "dreams" were really my past life memories.

Welcome to the forum Shiro. Do you have memories other than the ones you read about in her diary? (Not saying that it wasn't your past life, just hoping you will share more. :) )

I remember that Hanneli and I often fought over whether dogs or cats make better pets. Other than that, the diary covers all of my memories. :)

Do you remember having any dreams about being Anne when you were very little? Some children dream about their past lives when they are under the age of five.

Welcome to the forum :)

Your post made me think of Neutral Milk Hotel's In The Aeroplane over the Sea! I don't know if you know anything about it but one of the stories in the album (there's a couple of them) is about Anne Frank and references the possibility of her reincarnating.

No dreams, sorry.

Did you ever tell your Mom or Dad that you were Anne when you were little? How old were you when the memories started?

I've had my memories for as far as I can remember, and I told my mom when I was around 4.

Well, that's how you need to feel. You don't need to convince anyone. The purpose of being on the forum is to get feedback from other people. If you are sure you were Anne Frank, then make peace with it, and move on to your real life, which is who you are now. I think Anne would have loved nothing more than living a normal life as a teen-ager. So for her sake - go out, hang out with friends, listen to music, etc. Think how much Anne would have loved texting her friends. She was a beautiful girl, full of life, and hope. If you were Anne, then you are very lucky, because her joyful soul lives in you. Make her proud.

Ok. :)

I'm sorry, but I know who I am, and I can't be convinced that I'm not just because of an article.
I don't know you or the specifics of why you feel you were Anna Frank to convince you of anything right now. However, in cases that concern someone well known, I think IT IS IMPORTANT to be aware of what other information is available to us, esp. if others have made a claim to the same life (whether real or false). Even if you are sure of who you are, I would still urge you, in this instance, to investigate Barbro's story. She has written a book, and there is a good/excellent 3 part video with Barbro recounting her story and what led her to writing the book.

Like you, Barbro also had memories of being Anna as a very young child.

I notice there have been posts on split incarnations, where past soul incarnates in more than one person simultaneously. Could that be a possibility?

I thought about the possibility of split incarnations myself, BethC. It is possible. Barbro Karlen has had a difficult life. However, I believe that she is still living. I do think Anne would love being a teenager right now. It's not possible for anyone to give a definitive answer to something like this.

I'm an acquaintance of Barbro's and yes, she is very much still alive and is doing what she loves in life, as far as I can tell anyway.

If it's any help, I believe I might have been a pair of sisters at one time. I couldn't figure out which I was, and I have fears from both of them, so it is a possibility.

Hello and thank you for sharing your story :)
The problem with well documented people is that some aspects of their lives can appeal to a lot of people. The story of Anne Frank and her book had ans still has a lot of emotional impact on people for many reasons. Can i please ask you some questions?

- Can you identify some details can be less know to the general public but can be know from the Anne Frank museum in Amsterdam for example?
- Can you be sure you're not a another little girl named Anne, who were a Jew and lived during WW2? Anne is a very common name and a lot of young girls experienced what Anna Frank went through during WW2.

I wonder if sometimes people who feel they were somebody that history remembers are not actually receiving some archetype or symbolic images of these people to be close to what they were because they had similar existence but were forgotten by history. In that idea, having a strong connection with Anne Frank could be because Anne's experience during WW2 is a symbol for lot of young people who experienced the Nazi's regime and who had to run away of their homes and hide somewhere. The symbol can give a clue about what we were in a past live but not necessarily indicated the identity of the person.
