My journal full of memories

Bellona324

Tsar Bomba
If you’ve seen me around but you realise that I deleted a post here, it’s because I’m not ready to share about it. If not, then hello, I’m Bellona. I’m not going to post my memories in this forum itself BUT I will put my journal here because honestly, I don’t want the wrong people to read it. If you do want to read it, just hit me up.

Basically, I mainly post about my Third Reich memories. In summary, I was a German spy during WWII but after the war, I defected to the United States and became an American spy. In both sides, I spied mainly on the Soviet Union.

Edit: I’ll make my journal public for a week. If you want to continue reading after a week, then tell me about it. The journal is: https://thepastofbellona.blogspot.com/

Note that the comments will be moderated.

“I was wearing my black SS uniform and I was with my colleagues and their lovers. We were in the orchestra pit and trying out the musical instruments. I was already familiar with the string instruments so I decided to try out the percussion. All of us were having fun. It seemed like we were early for an event so I guess that we decided to have fun first because the hosts have not arrived yet.”

This is from one of my posts, the shortest one yet. If you want to read more, then just contact me.

Hi Bellona,

Thanks for your posts and welcome to the board. I look forward to checking out your blog as soon as I have a chance. I wouldn't be too worried about your memories. That was then, this is now.

Cordially,
S&S

Sorry for not updating after a long time, I was pretty busy. I just updated it just now, though. I update weekly and post either on Fridays and/or Saturdays. In the meantime, I have 74 posts in total so you can check out the others too.

Update: I’m starting to post more about 1945 and eventually, my defection to the UK. Before I defected, I lived in the Führerbunker.

A Sicherheitsdienst or Gestapo Oberführer? That lies between Standartenführer and Brigadeführer (Major-General). What was the nature of your work?

Also, the band pit thing. When did that play out?

Well more like the SS as a whole. The SD and Gestapo were branches that I was a part of.

For the nature, well I’m not sure how to describe it but it’s honestly not something I’m proud of. It depends on when. I would either shoot the ‘undesirables’(though I wouldn’t have done that if I had the choice) or spy on the enemies. I couldn’t resist the orders of my superiors because I was afraid that I would get killed myself.

The band pit happened in around 1941-42.

An Oberführer is The Superior. Was, I should say. It was one of the highest ranks and there were not that many.
An Intelligence Oberführer would definitely not be running around shooting people like in some bad Hollywood movie.

Compare to very famous figure such as Adolf Eichmann. He was a Sicherheitsdienst Obersturmbannführer. An Oberführer in the SD or Gestapo would have been a big dog indeed. With a lot of autonomy.

Like I said before, it depends on when. The shooting part happened when I was still low-ranking. I only became an Oberführer at around 1944-45 so it was my last rank before the Third Reich dissolved. As an Oberführer, I was mostly leading espionage missions, making sure the others don’t mess up in those missions and also ensuring that my subordinates do their jobs well. At that rank, I could talk to Hitler directly.

Also, I was part of the Einsatzgruppen too. My job required me to be flexible. Gas chambers weren’t used back then so we had to shoot. The last time I was involved in killing directly was in Babi Yar, which was in late 1941. After that, I was sent to Prague becoming more active in espionage. I was also sent to Austria and Italy for office work, France and Russia for espionage before coming back to Germany. However, I’m not too sure what I did exactly in Germany job-wise in 1945. All I know is that I did report to Hitler during the last days of the war.

Ps. At one point, I actually made some sort of hitlist. I was a bit more senior but not an Oberführer yet.

Should I also post about my life in Ancient Egypt? I have a few memories of them myself. I’m just nervous on revealing my identity, though. They’re also not as clear compared to my Third Reich memories.

This isn’t a journal entry but rather, it’s just a short memory.

This took place in my Confederate life. I was relatively new to the army and my higher-up introduced me to my new comrades. We were wearing grey uniforms. I appeared to have been very young, around 18 or so. I was also relatively short compared to my peers. Basically, my head was around my higher-up’s shoulders. It’s possible that I may have faked my age because I appeared too young to join the army, or I probably just had a very youthful face. My comrades were in front of me, standing still and looking stern. We were in a grassy area.
