My Deceased father and dreams

My father passed away in 2016. Due to many issues, I had not seen him for 20 years, I had not spoken to him for 10 years.

One night I dreamt I saw him flying in the sky. He took up the whole sky and had a suit on, and he looked young and handsome. There was a scroll next to him, and it was unravelled and I saw all kinds of names on this scroll, mostly Chinese names written in Chinese (which is odd we do not have Chinese blood but are connected to China both married a Chinese national).

The night I had that dream they found him dead in a boarding room in Iowa.

Now, I never dreamt of him previously. He continued appearing in my dreams for hugs, reconcilation, messages that he would help me from the other side as he didnt help me enough in life.

If reincarnation is true, why would he hang around 2 years? Also, I have not heard from him the past year. 1 year zero, nothing, no dreams even though I have been begging to see him.

Hi, maybe you have not "heard" from him the past year because you have made peace with him in the dreams that kept coming for a period of time so maybe now he is moving on to the next step ?

I'm sorry the many issues stood in your way to have a close father- and daughter relationship in life, but the beauty in your story is that it is never too late after all

It can be different time frame when souls are reborn, some are reborn sooner than others, if I have now understood this right. If my own reincarnation experiences are right so far it can be all from around 2 years to 10 years but that is only in my cases. I'm sure others have other time frames too.

I don't think there is any fixed time interval between the end of one incarnation and the next. There may be decades or centuries between lives. Some reports do indicate a return after say 2 to 5 years, but I'm not sure whether those represent a usual situation, or are simply cases which come to our attention, and might be anomalies.

As for the idea of "hanging around", perhaps it isn't the case that a spirit hovers close to the Earth the whole time, but rather is visiting from time to time. In any case our ideas of space and time don't make much sense on that context, they apply to the physical world.

The time between incarnations can vary, as the spirit world (afterlife, heaven, whatever you want to call it) doesn't run on our time.

I believe that your dreams may have more to do with you, than with your father's trying to reach you after two years. We get messages from "the other side" all the time, but we miss them because we aren't tuned in. When / if we get them, those messages are altered to a certain degree by our emotions and beliefs.

I'd say that's likely that it took you this time to deal with your resentments toward your father.

To get tuned in you have to put aside your conscious, and get in contact with your subconscious. Once the connection established, you can ask questions, and you'll receive answers. In my experience, those answers are downloaded directly into your, mind; you don't hear a voice. I use self-hypnosis to get into the desired state. Most other methods, in my opinion, rely on self-hypnosis too, just that don't call it that.

There are many books and videos about inducing self-hypnosis. I believe I've already posted some links, but here there are some that I've recently browsed:

Yes ! It does seem since our last dream, in which he was in a light/smokey hallway in his robe with coffee and we hugged, I have not dreamt of him since. I think we made peace with each other before he crossed over, or whatever happens next. Its just sad that he does not stop by to say "hi" from time to time. My daughter and I did both hear an audible knocking from the closet where his stuff is---3 solid, loud, purposeful knocks.
