Missing past life?

Hi,

I am a little ok very nervous about asking this but I feel I need answers. I have a very strong connection to the early - mid 1900's like 1920-1940's. Everytime I encounter something from that time period I become very emotional and often end up crying even sometimes sobbing over it. I do not have this reaction with any other time period. I am also not an emotional type. I feel misplaced and depressed a lot. I also use to sit in my room and cry as a little girl saying " I wanna go home, I wanna go home" I don't remember this but my mother told me about it. Is it possible I miss my past life? and what do I do to get rid of the pain?

Hi Sillygirl, and welcome to the forum! It's very possible that what you feel comes from a past life. The best way to get rid of the pain is to explore that life. Your reaction seems to me a little extreme, so first I'm going to recommend that you try a professional regression. If that's not an option, for financial reasons or otherwise, you can try meditation and self-regression. (possible from the use of CDs) One simple thing that sometimes brings results is to ask for a past life dream right before going to sleep. Have you done much reading about past lives? This is a good place to start. I think "Many Lives, Many Masters" by Brian Weiss is a good starting place. Good luck, and please keep posting!

Your post really resonates with me, Sillygirl. I have the same attachment and emotions to the same general period, and just like you, I am not a very emotional person. Even more interesting is that when I was little whenever I'd get upset I'd start screaming "I wanna go home!" My mom tells me that there were times when we would walk into the house and I'd refuse to take my jacket off and just start crying "I wanna go home." Even now, if I get very upset, I'll start saying it.

I don't know "who" I was precisely. But I do now where I was and what I encountered. I'd suggest meditating, or asking for answers in the form of a dream. Or perhaps getting a regression done. I sense your young like me though (correct me if I'm wrong) and going to a past life regression therapist isn't exactly cheap, especially when you aren't on your own two feet yet, but you there are CDs you can buy that have the same effect. Or at least that's the idea anyway.

I can relate, i felt much the same way for a long.

I welcome you to the forum and i wish you luck in your search.

Welcome to my world.

My advice take it slow. At times it's

too overwhelming and the road

leading to a past life might not be to pleasent.

Truthfully. I don't like this century.

Oh, I'm not the one person with that kind of troubles! My problem is, that I don't fit to my epoque, XXI century. I want to go back to 70's or earlier.

What do you miss the most?

I know what you feel like, I miss the 1940's, 50's and 60's so much I cry when I watch a movie from that time and really wish I had a time machine. I did past life regression and a past life where I was a housewife was revealed which of course is a case in which someone had family they might miss. I still shed tears because of it but whatever. I'm a housewife again lol

I know how you feel, I've never felt like I belong in this time period, I've always felt I was born too late or something.

It's the same with me with feeling well out of place in modern times and especially in this modern society. A lot of things are too materialistic for me. I feel i would've been more at home in the 50's and the rock and roll era, ancient egypt, Atlantis to name a few. The hippy era and the early 70's i would have and probably did like better which is probably why i like the music from those times so much.

Hey. I was feeling like that too, especially in my "difficult" years when I was 11 to 18 years old. I was waiting for that car passing by, picking me up and take me home  I felt crazy about it. I also missed the 30ies (still do, but in another way) and I wanted to get back to that life. It got easier when I had more freedom in this life - when I started going to college and be more independent.
