Looking like someone from the past

Something i have wondered for a long time. And here i am using celebs - for examples. Firstly, i wondered do we necesarily resemble in looks wise past people we have been? This is probably best answered if you know who you've been before. But opinion wise, can we look similar? But on the other hand can we also look totally different? And for arguments sake i have added a few 'celeb' pics i came across who look like someone else from the past. The question is not are they authentic but is it possible they where those people? And is it also possible there are just simply people in the world who look a lot like you? Since the population is huge anyway, or are both perfectly possible ? I have always wondered since i was small if there is someone out there in the here and now who looks like me? I even used to ask my mum this question!

This is a question that has popped up fairly recently. Until the James Leninger case a few years ago no one had any idea that we could look like our previous self. With James Leninger they were able to identify who he was in his last life. They tracked down the sister who was close to 90 years old. She sent several photos of her brother. The Leninger's were shocked to see the unmistakable resemblance. Not only that, they took James to a reunion of the Natomay Bay veterans. The veterans said he looks just like Jim Huston, the pilot that was shot down in 1945. Now there are children who talk about dying on 9-11. Several of these kids have remembered their previous name. The current parents have found photos online of the 9-11 victims and the resemblance is uncanny. Same facial features, bone structure, even the same cheeks. Makes me want to see a photo of my previous self. I think there might be one taken around 1917.

Interesting!

I saw a documentary on YouTube about the story of a woman, Barbro Karlen, who claims to be Ann Frank. They look quite similar...

Argonne, I wouldn't assume no one thought it was possible to have a similar resemblance to a past life.

In fact I think the contrary would be a logical assumption, given how tied physical appearance can be to our identities.
