I know that many people have claimed to be the reincarnation of either Anastasia Romanov or one of her immediate family members. I am not claiming to be her, or any of them, because I honestly don't know. I just want to share some of my experiences with like minded people and get some opinions.
My entire life I have been obsessed with the Romanovs. I asked my mom if I talked about them a lot when I was younger, and she said that pretty much since I was able to speak I have talked about them. When I look at photos of them I feel a deep emotional connection. I think of them as my family, more so than my current family. I still cry for them, even though they have been dead almost 100 years. I remember having dreams about them my entire life, always from the point of view of one of the children. Mostly Anastasia. Years ago I had a dream that I was in the palace with them, except I was human and they were all orbs/spirits. This dream was before i had ever seen any pictures of the palace. A year or so later I looked up pictures and the palace in my dreams was eerily similar. My most recent dream was a few month ago (I don't remember dreams very often).
In the dream, I was Anastasiya. I escaped being assassinated with my family, but I hid in a lake beside the palace. I was underwater, and I think the water was representative of the spirit world, the afterlife, whatever you want to call it. Because when I rose from the water, it was 2013. I looked mostly the same, but I was different mentally. I was smarter, more mature. My soul was in a higher state. I was still Anastasia but that was in the back of my mind. I was me, my curent self. I spoke perfect English. (They Romanovs did speak English though. With their father being Russian and their mother German they knew many languages.) I knew, after I rose from the water, that I was in my new life. My soul was still the same but I wasn't completely the same person I was before. However, when I came from the water I was clutching jewels in my hands. When the Romanovs were in captivity they sewed their wealth, in diamonds, rubies, emeralds etc into their clothes in case they could escape and needed money. This is why it was hard for them to be killed, because the bullets wouldn't go through the jewels. Many of the girls were eventually shot in the head. I'm not sure what it represented with me holding the jewels.
I wrote this immediately after I woke up from the dream:
"The hiding could symbolize death. When I ended the past life in my dream, I was in the water below the palace. I came back out of the water, clutching jewels (when the girls were murdered they had jewels sewn into their dresses) that could symbolize my return back to this world, or rebirth. I was the same person, yet different mentally, because I was smarter. My soul was in a higher state. I now spoke better English (the children did speak English though). I saw a boy who represented my ex, who I've been talking to again. I wanted to have sex with him, because Anastasia died a virgin...."
(please no rude comments about that last part.)
I wrote this in a message to someone a few months ago:
"Im just not sure if I am her or not because in a way I don't feel worthy of being the reincarnation of the last grand duchess of Russia. I feel like I should've been reincarnated as someone wealthier, or prettier, or better overall. Omg I just wrote "I" instead of writing she... That was creepy..."
When I was 8 I entered a contest for school. We had to choose who we would invite to dinner, alive or dead. They had to be an historical figure. I chose Anastasia. I wrote an essay about her and drew a 'life size' picture of her (I was 8 so making her my height was only 4 feet tall)
When I was 14 I wrote 'the last Romanov', a song from the view point of one of the Romanovs. I felt like the song was something I needed to do. I haven't finished it yet, because I want to make it perfect for them. I have all of the lyrics written though. Those lyrics haven't changed since I was 14. If anyone wants the lyrics I'll post them, I just thought this post was long enough as it is!
When I was about 14 and I first found out Alexei and Anastasia (or Maria's, scientists aren't sure which daughter it is) remains were in fact found, I cried so much. Looking at the newspaper article, with a little photo of Alexei, I felt as if I knew him, as if someone in my family or one of my close friends had died. Whenever I look at a picture of any or all of them, I feel very strong emotions. In my mind, I call them my family. It just feels right to say that. My first reaction when I saw a picture of Nikolas online was to say 'oh it's papa!'
I posted this as a facebook status in January:
"Needs someone to talk to, but no one understands the level of crazy going on in my head. Recurring lifelong dreams of being a Romanov, and I have just awoken from yet another one. Was it a past life? I cannot explain how else I've been dreaming of this life, since I was at least 4 or 5 years old. What is my obsession with this family? Why do I cry for people who have been dead almost 100 years? Why have I envisioned palaces I've never seen, only to look at pictures of their real palace and discover it looks hauntingly similar to my dreams? Why did I write a song about them when I was only 14? Why, when I was in 4th grade, did I choose Anastasia Romanov, of all people, to create a project on? Can't anyone help me?"
I believe that when you are reincarnated, since your soul remains the same, you carry over certain personality traits. Interests, fears, and behavior can be influenced by repressed past life memories. Here are some I found:
I'm terrified to even touch a gun, because im afraid i will somehow set if off and kill myself or others. And the Romanovs were murdered at gunpoint... could a violent past life death have given me a fear of guns?
I've always obsessively wanted long hair. To me, long hair means beauty. Well, Anastasia's hair was extremely long, until it was cut devastatingly short while in captivity. I'm sure it really upset her to have her long beautiful hair that took years to grow just be cut off suddenly and be left bald. I've always wanted long hair but my hair grows slowly and falls out a lot due to bleach and dye...
I might be so socially awkward now because back then as Anastasia I was raised only surrounded by my family, and home schooled so that could explain why I'm so shy around strangers.
I rely on my parents for everything, such as help scheduling doctors appts and taking care of things. The children probably did the same, especially since they never lived to be independent adults. It's hard for me to try and do things on my own. I'm 20 incase anyone was wondering. But since the Romanovs were always waited on that could explain why it's so hard for me to be independent.
I may be such a hopeless romantic because the children never had boyfriends/girlfriends. They died before they could get married or have children. My whole life I've been obsessed with the thought of getting married and having children. It's all I've ever wanted in life, almost as if I need to make up for my past life ending so soon.
So as I said. I don't know if I was a Romanov in a past life. But it IS kind of weird that I have been obsessed with this family as far as I can remember. This was before I knew what past lives were, I just felt this connection to them that I can't explain. Thank you to anyone who read through all of that
