I remembered....

I was once asked "You once lived in South America (past life), didn't you"? I answered "How would I know"? But the next day at work (I am an artist) while 'daydreaming' I sketched out a cave in the mountains with metaphysical symbols carved above the entrance, me sitting on the ledge in front of it. Came out of the daydream, laughed, and tossed the sketch away. I never mentioned it to anyone.

Years later I had my spouse and Dick Sutphen under hypnosis together 'remembering' past lives where they knew each other. They mentioned 'South America". I remembered....I asked "Do I live in the tribe with you"? They said I did, but I had been kicked out for teaching forbidden things. I asked where I then lived. They said "You now live in the cave in the mountains with the symbols carved above it" and went on to describe exactly what I had sketched years earlier, and never told anyone about.

Another occasion....I had a gal who wrote meditation books for children in hypnosis, she said she came to the crucifixion with Peter. I thought "Of course, everyone came with Peter....". The next night I had a friend under and said "Pick up on the vibration of the gal I worked with last night and see if she came to the crucifixion. He said yes, he sees her, and yes she was there. I asked "Did she come alone"? He said "No, she came with Peter". Opps.

Hi psiartist, thanks for sharing, and welcome to the forum :)

Have you tried (or considered trying) a regression yourself, to see if you can verify what others have told you about your past life in South America?

Hiya Psiartist and welcome to the forum! :)

Very interesting ocurrences! I'm also curious if you've considered doing a regression?

I recall knowing 46 past lives from people I had under hypnosis and asked "Who do you know there you know here" and they would say "I know you". I was always on the other end of regressions, doing 1000s at seminars, workshops, and individuals.

Re

its a metaphor for life that life is like a dream and our past memories shows it mostly we remember our bad dreams in spite of the good ones, as good one we enjoy and forget and bad dreams threaten us.

A regression

One evening Dick Sutphen 'regressed me' alone at his home. I 'went to' ancient Egypt. Since we now had for the first time a pharaoh who was not a Master I had started a shop right by the palace so I could pick up info about everything Pharaoh did. I went into great detail. Finally Dick paused.....asked "are you really under hypnosis"? I opened one eye and replied "I don't know but it's one hell of a great story". I can't say if I was actually 'remembering' but the 'story' came to me vividly. Upon reflection I would say it was an actual regression memory.

 Oh, that made me laugh through my sinus headache! I remember hearing about something called "waking hypnosis", in which the subject is awake and aware, but the mind is just relaxed enough to be in a sort of hypnotic state. It's like watching two TVs at once. You're aware of what's on one, but the bulk of your attention is on the other.
