Huffington Post, Stephen Colbert and Children's Past Lives

Hello,

Carol and I just saw last night's Stephen Colbert Report (Comedy Central) and he led with a story about a child remembering to be Hitler. He was commenting on a recent article on Huffington Post.

Of course Colbert was making a joke of it. (Great line: "I don't believe in reincarnation because I was a skeptic in my last life.")

The Huffington Post though, is claiming to share "9 Signs Your Child had a Past Life."

What this really means is that thousands of people will be reading that article. Think of the parents who may be reading the Huff Post article who have children who really are showing signs (but not of being a notorious dictator). This is an opportunity to let them know that serious, compassionate help is a click away. It's a great opportunity to say, "Hey, we have a Forum with thousands of threads with cases of real child past life memories." And maybe point out Carol's books, and Dr. Ian Stevenson's research.

If you want to point those parents in the right direction, please go to the Huffington Post article and post in the comments links to this Forum.

We also have a FaceBook page now we put up to be a "front porch" to this Forum, an outpost to lure people into the Forum. If you find posts on FaceBook related to this article--or anything like it--please post on that page and Like it.

Thank you for all your help,

Steve

The "9 Signs" listed in the article are actually referring to episodes of the "Ghost Within My Child" show. Each of the signs was about a child on the show. The Hitler story was garbled. The boy that was mentioned starting at age 2 spoke about being wounded in battle, jumping out of airplanes with parachutes, etc. His family used "Flash cards" at home to help him learn to read. When they showed him the card with "NO" he said, "Nein". Later he saw a program about WWII on the History Channel where Hitler was giving a speech. His parents were stunned when he understood what Hitler was saying before the translation came up. So then they assumed he must have been a German soldier during WWII. His dad found photos of WWII planes on the internet and asked his son if he could find his plane that he jumped out of. He did. Except it was a Russian plane. After more research they came to the conclusion he had been a Soviet Colonel Petrosky who helped the Russian partisans. You can watch the "Ghost Within My Child" episodes on the LMN cable channel or purchase for $2 or $3 on itunes. It's actually a very good program. It's obvious the families knew the story about James Leininger and were following the same pattern for researching.

I tried to sign in with my facebook several times to post and it wouldn't let me then I got frustrated and gave up. Did anyone else have any luck with it?
