How can I have more past life dreams?

VikingGirlTBird

Hi Everybody,

How are you?

When I was between the ages of twelve and sixteen. I used to have A LOT of past life dreams. But, when I got passed the age of sixteen I stopped having past life dreams for some unknown reason and I had not had them sense. I was just wondering how can I have more past life dreams because I really miss them, I really want some extra help and guidance in my life, and I really find them very interesting and entertaining? (Mainly because I really love and I really know a lot about history.) Thanks so much!

Peace! :) ;)

Have you tried doing self regression? There are CDs, DVDs, and videos on YouTube. Many people have had good results with the Brian Weiss video on YouTube.

Thanks so much for the great suggestions! I have tried many self past life regressions on YouTube for about a week every night about bedtime but, I have not been able to successfully hypnotize myself and have a successful past life regression so far. I really think reason why I have not been able to successfully hypnotize myself and have a successful past life regression is because I am very new to self past life regressions and I need a lot more time and practice at hypnotizing myself so that I can hopefully have a successful self past life regression. Thanks again! :) ;)

VikingGirl, there seems to be two or three main ways that people have past life memories. Some people have dreams. Some people have 'flashbacks' when awake, often in response to some kind of trigger - like music, or a smell, or a person or place or whatever it might be. Others have a lot of success with self-regression.

I'm a 'flashback' person, but I've also had quite a lot of success with self-regression and, yes, it does take a bit of practice. What I will usually do is start with a tiny bit that I've got from one of my 'flashbacks' and do a self-regression to see if I can get any more of it, rather than just ask for a 'random' memory to come from scratch. It seems to me that sometimes our psyche will bring something to the fore when there is something we need to know, or something playing on our mind that is related, so this approach certainly makes sense to me and seems to work fairly well.

It seems from what I've been reading of your posts that you are more of a natural dreamer. Other 'dreamers' here will be able to give you good advise on their various technique details. I would advise you at the very least, to start keeping a journal, if you haven't already. Make a separate page or section for each of the lives that you've already got bits of. Then, before you go to sleep, decide which one is the 'strongest' of these - the one you would really like to know more about. Then, ask for a dream about it. Be sure to keep your journal handy and write it down at once before you forget anything.

You can keep trying with the self-regression, but use a life that you already have some information on as a starting point. It's a lot easier. Go over the bits you have again in your mind, and see if you can get a bit more. Ask for names, or dates, or what happened next, etc. You may have a bit more control than when you are actually dreaming and this way you may be able to get a bit more information.

Hi Tanguerra!

Thanks so much for all the information, advise, and suggestions. I will most definitely try them. PS: Yes, I have written all of my past life memories down. :) ;)
