I can totally relate with you there! - I have no trouble at all understanding the Irish & Scottish accents, while others around me can't understand a word they're saying! I plan on visiting Ireland someday in the future, hopefully to the same area I lived before - I know it will feel very familiar, like you describe, as I get that feeling just from certain images of Ireland, let along being there again....

Again, Welcome! :)

:D I am very shortly to visit a Scottish island one of the characters in my dreams had a connection to! What is strange though, is that I feel a strange resonation with going there (despite the fact I have never been to Scotland) and I feel like I am going home.

Also rather strangely, I had another dream about her the other night. Strange, because I have had no further dreams about her since we were first introduced (on a wagon trail in America) a few years ago; and, whereas before it was almost as if I was seeing her life through her eyes, this time around, I saw her standing in front of me (most definitely Before heading to America). And a voice sang through my mind that 'I'm going home'!

Am really excited!

That should be an 'interesting' trip Lynnette - do let us know how you get on! ;)

The Cynicalone, I have had significant experience with past life meditation cds...I can't comment on your findings, but I have had very good results and obtained a tremendous level of valid information from my own meditations. Keep at it, it might take some time, but it comes with practice.
I haven't tried it yet but my sister had an interesting experience with it. She's given it to me. I would need a guided meditation because I remember nothing.

The one I use simply walks you through a relaxation technique and then mentally walks you through a specific location and you choose a door with a specific symbol on it. As you open the door, you look at your feet and are instructed to remember what you are seeing, then a significant event in that lifetime, the time of death of that lifetime, then a being will give you a message for the purpos of that lifetime. At the conclusion, you are directed to pause the cd and write down your impressions. Then begin the cd again and step through the next door...the cd has three life reveiws in one hour.

I have mentioned that the first several times I got nothing focusing on the area of my third eye...after that I noticed that something was going on near my right ear! I began to not focus on a spot to see, rather to focus simply on being, and it was like someone cleaned the lens and I was able to watch the lives unfold very quickly and clearly. You can pm me and I will give you my source of the cd...I am not sure I am supposed to post commercial enterprises on the site.

This place is amazing. It feels so rooted, so grounded. Catherine most definitely has the features of the islanders' physiognomy??, and having visited the museum, the clothes she was wearing in my latest vision matched those frequented in her time period. There is most definitely an undefinable yet deeply satisfying sense of peace and history and belonging!

In 2001/2002, when I still lived in America, my husband surprised me one day and told me that were going to Oklahoma to visit a very special place. He knew about my prior life there and thought it would be a nice trip for me (or us) to visit. So, we traveled by car from Colorado through Kansas to Oklahoma to visit the Washita Memorial Site. It was the middle of summer, hot as an oven and the bugs were crawling and flying everywhere. I have a phobia toward bugs flying or jumping on me but yet, this time I wasn't bothered...it felt so natural, as if I had been walking through the prarie grass my entire life. My husband on the other hand was doing the Scottish Highland jig and cussing like there was no tomorrow.

I also remember how familiar the landscape looked as we traveled through Kansas.

I wanted to visit Sand Creek too, since we lived in Colorado, but unfortunately, I think at that time, because the land was privately owned, it was not open to the public - only to the Native Americans for ceremonial purposes.

I only realised tonight that the way we traveled to get to Washita was how the old chief and the remainder of his tribe had fled to Oklahoma way back in 1864.

The strangest thing happened last night - I had been visiting lots of stone circles and neolithic sites and museums on the island, and quite enjoying myself. But then shortly after I went to bed, I started hearing this name in my minds eye, like Arra, or something, and was just puzzling over that when all of a sudden it was like I shot out of my body and was standing looking out at the island's outdoor landscape in the middle of a sleety rain storm, and there, walking towards me, holding the hand of a small child, was my splitting image dressed in an inside-out hide hood and cloak. It really took me quite aback, for it was just like looking in a mirror, except for maybe my hair was a little windswept and wilder (well, maybe more than just a little : angel )

Lynnette, that sounds very interesting. If you don't mind my asking, what island are you visiting? I went to visit an island in Scotland myself when I was younger, but the past life feelings I had then were mostly felt on the ferry ride over ...

Midnight Sapphires, now this is really interesting as to your visit to the site where the Washita Massacre happened and to Sand Creek. Now you can see in that thread of my recent past life regression as to my connnection to Sand Creek and the Cheyenne. Now am interested in hearing more of your story. Very Interesting! Wishing You the Best!

Hi Jody,

I'm visiting the northern isles, so the Orcadian archipelagio.

Its been quite eye opening throughout, and I have found myself having tours of all the old sites listening to the tourguides' postulations, and thinking no, no, that's not right! Or, why is this puzzling you, when the answer is quite obviously staring you in the face!

And then my sensibility kicks in and I ask myself how I could possibly think my thoughts/answers are correct; afterall, they are the experts on this. I'm just a tourist passing through!

That's what I thought when you said "stone circles"...! I visited Kirkwall years ago and I absolutely loved it. One of these days (maybe in another life, I can't afford it now ...) I'm going back there. Have a great trip! :D

Hello kmatjhwy...

My journey began when a coworker came in to work all excited about her experiences with a past life regressionist who regressed her back to a life in America in the late 1800's. She begged me to go and make an appointment with him. After much coaxing, I finally did make an appointment. That's when I discovered a life I had lived as a Native American male who survived both the Sand Creek and the Washita massacres. It took me over 10 years of research and soul searching to piece together my entire life at that time - from my birth as a Shoshone to my death (by suicide) on a reservation in Oklahoma in the early 1900's.

I went searching through the forum archives for my old posts relating to that life and I found an entire discussion with many members who also had memories of either surviving or participating in the Sand Creek and/or Washita massacres. There are also a couple of posts from Deborah who had walked the Trail of Tears in one of her prior lives. Unfortunately, out of all the members who participated in that discussion, I think I'm the only one aside from Catseye and Deborah who are still members here.

England Cornwall

I had a past life I first thought was Spain but then researching the map images I found out it was South England Cornwall coast. It looks like lizards end they have the rugged cliff over the mounts bay.I was standing looking down wearing a victorian dress. My dad was wearing a long cape he was a rich land owner and was angry with me! I was meeting secretly with my boyfriend when my dad caught us. He was fuming with anger. My dad is my husband now in this lifetime and he is always protected of me and has anger towards me sometimes. Even though he loves me dearly he just doesn't trust me and says one day I will run away from him and leave him! I have never been to England nor Cornwall but will go there definately one day.

Interesting responses to this cool older thread!

Anyone else have some related experiences to share, or any updates? :)

In an earlier post titled "Old woman dying" about an experience I'd had when I was three, I'd described the area of the farm my parents had bought about seven or eight months before.

I'd spent my growing up years on the farm, and had explored the majority of its eighty acres, although except for when my father plowed up the field there once, I'd never explored the area at the side of the field where the old woman lay dying in the small lean-to home with all the misc., stuff on the roof.

I have a set of "homemade" books by a local historian and the owner of the local newspaper, about the area of my home town, and surrounding areas, with maps, pictures, and people, and a fantastic history of the early settlers in the area, including the native tribes and a very famous fishing area they lived by. There was a branch of the Hudson Bay Trading Post, and a fort there, and a whole lot of trading going on in the area that was Oregon, Washington and Idaho.

I learned from these books about the trade routes in the area, and discovered there had been a later wagon trail built that cut off a lot of travel to and from the trading post and the fort, and that trail was where a highway had been built in the early 1920s. This highway cut through our farm. And when it was the wagon trail, the house where the old woman lived was a long stone's throw from the trail. I'd also seen, and walked on in my explorations, old remnants of the trail when certain areas had been bypassed by the highway.

Reading the history of the area in those books and looking at the pictures, it had all felt so familiar. And how I wish I'd gone exploring in that small area of the farm where the old woman had lived, and died.

Thanks Spatz for bringing up the thread again. Well, I know the backwards thing has happened for me a couple of times. Going to the place and having deja vus. I intend to go to a few places in England, Scotland and Wales next year to check out a few.

As for the places i have been that gave me deja vu or that I dreamed about, after:

I grew up in Southern California and still live here. I have visited the Queen Mary on a few occasions. When I was a child in this life, my brother took me there. About three months before my next visit as an adult, I had a dream that I was on an Ocean Liner and I was sitting outside on deck, with friends. Now it was kind of like taking a break, so it is as if I was a crew member. I remember that we were dressed in pool deck attire, so I'm really not sure about being on crew. The other memory from this dream is seeing the pool (indoor) and a clock on the wall above the pool. When I actually went there and saw the pool, it did have the clock. It seemed the reverse of how I saw it in my dream, but like a mirror image.

I remember going to Hong Kong, and having a deja vu up at Victoria Peak at a restaurant that had a balcony and a view that looked out over the back hills (opposite of the harbor side) and that seemed very familiar, kind of a 1930's feeling..Everyone dressed up very nice and the women's hairstyles were close to the head with the waves. I felt like I was a woman.

I was born and raised in England but I'm dying to go the the US (where I believe one of my past lives originated... Chicago I think?? Though I also have a fondness for New York), and another was Switzerland or Sweden, again, places I've been wanting to visit for a very long time!

One day I plan to visit everywhere I've been in previous lives :)

I visited locality near place where I was in my last past life possibly twice. I go to this city enough often because I am studying here at University.

At this place I have strange feelings. I know matt what I've done here. Occasionally I feel weird and another time good. In past life I didn't survive in this place nothing bad. I came in this locality for trip because it was related with profession which I implemented in past incarnation.

However is one place close to me where I want to go. I was in Auschwitz in my another past life during WW2. I hope that manage to me Auschwitz to visit. It would have been wealthy adventure.

Considering that I know one past life was in northern England and another few were probably the Old West... I'd like to go to either of those places.. (and slightly unrelated, but Norway sounds like a nice place I'd want to go (randomly suspect a past life during Viking times but no real proof :o ) )

I haven't tried to go to any places where I had a past life. Over a decade ago, I was supposed to go to Israel and do a tour, but that that was canceled due to the fighting. Would have been interesting to see what I would have gotten, had I gone, since I know now of the past life of the Roman who was fighting in the 70 ce war.

I frequently have a lot of homesickness. It usually gets worse when I start doing research or looking at photos and things of where I used to live.

I saw a Japanese flag once and I about fell over with sickness. So I don't really know for sure how I would feel or react. I guess it would be both good and bad depending on where I was and what had happened to me there..

I live within a few miles of my home in a previous life. I've never been able to pinpoint the exact location, so I haven't been able to visit the site where I lived. Maybe one day I'll stumble across it inadvertently! In any event, I've always felt a very fierce attachment to my home state, which I suppose is unsurprising since I once died for it. That was back around 1779/1780, and the death was not at home, but at sea. Other than that, I don't think I've been to any other past life locations, and I'm not sure I'd go out of my way to visit. I'm sure most of them are very different, if they even still exist.

Return to Tibet

I was a monk in Tibet in my past life. I missed that beautiful life so much, for decades. In 2006 I had to go there for other reasons and was afraid that my heart would break to see the destruction of the monasteries and the religious oppression of "my people." I let my two travel companions in on my past-life secret the night before flying there and warned them that I might cry a lot upon arriving. I was almost sick with nervousness as we flew past Mount Everest on the way. But when we arrived I was OK, actually more in a state of surprise to really be back. When we started touring a number of still-intact monasteries, I became filled with joy, ecstatic, and I stayed that way for the entire 3 weeks. I had finally come home. I wanted to stay forever. The trip allowed me to connect with what had always seemed like my hopelessly lost past, and helped heal many of the feelings of loss and sorrow. I recovered a sense of historical and spiritual heritage (I have never felt connected to the West) and this makes it easier to live in the West - and to look toward the future.

I've wanted to return to Germany for most of my life. It was always a dream of mine growing up and I honestly didn't know what to expect once I did. In my mind was the way it was in the past, but I knew that it had to be different now. I returned in 2004 with the army that had defeated us and had a hand in destroying my home in that life: the American army. That honestly did not feel good to me. Germany was different, of course. I loved it but I was no longer German, but American and the people treated me as such. It just goes to show how futile it is to try to reclaim the past or relive it. I spent more time there in 2005 and it was an emotional experience for me, but again, reiterated that I was no longer German no matter how much I wanted to be. I plan on returning again the year after next.

Just Berlin. I want to travel around Poland and Germany to find KL, where was I working. There is one more place, where I would like to go to. Petersburg. One of my PL could be a known Russian writer: Fiodor Dostojewskij.

ZeonChar, which places would you like to see?

Do you have some memories from PL from which you could be Fyodor Dostoyevsky?
Yes, I do. Siberia and Petersburg. The city is a place od death, misery, pain and... a kind of mistery. During reading any book coming from positivism epoque, I can see the same streets. That's Petersburg, recognized on photos.

I haven't mentioned yet, that my hobby is writing. And my mother (Polish philologist or scolar, not sure, how to translate, she knows literature very well) said, that my style is really similar to Dostojewskij's writings. Now I'm during the lecture of "The Idiot" and noticed, that my characters are 'based' on those from book, which I read the first time! Characters had been created by me earlier than I started to read. And I'm able to provide, what'll happen within next pages.

Often I understand Russian and create words in that language intuitively, although don't learn the language at school or something like that.

Positivism is my favourite epoque for literature.

Your experiences are for me remarkable and familiar. Similar things I experienced too. As far as you feel deeply inside that you were he so it is truth. Thank you for sharing.
