Dreams of a Nuclear Catastrophe

Lately I've been having some dreams of nuclear war. These dreams are so real they are scary. I live in the greater Los Angeles area, and every since the cold war, have been aware they my area was/is a target for a nuclear warhead.

In one dream, I was standing outside, talking to a neighbor when there was a huge flash, we both turned to see a mushroom cloud and the heat and shock hit us. I was watching my arms and body just dissolve. I woke up with my heart pounding heard and gasping for air. Very frightened. I don't think this dream was in the LA area, but some place in TX.

Another dream was me walking round an area that was burned out and seeing burned bodies and knowing this was the result of a nuclear strike. It was a large city, I think it was Chicago? Didn't know who was responsible though.

Whether all of this is due to anxiety provoked by the North Korean issue, I don't know. These dreams had such a REAL feel to them, make me think more is going on. Coincidently, last evening I was browsing a bunch of interviews with Frank DeMarco on youtube. Your post reminds of one of his answers related to some of the worries that drain our energies: "this might happen" is just a waste of your life.

This being said, if living in US I believe there's a much higher risk of nuclear death from one of the nuclear plants, than from a nuclear attack.
