cloned body and soul

Just a thought, if a human was cloned would they have a soul or would it be an empty vessel until a soul goes into the body. That leads me to a 2nd question would a soul go into a cloned body?
 
Well, a cloned body is basically a baby, isn't it? Perhaps the nearest parallel might be with identical twins.
 
In my opinion, a body is not viable unless it has a soul. If the body lives, it has a soul, if it dies, the soul has left/ not entered.

From the perspective of a soul, the issues would presumably be the same type as any other, what sort of life would it be, for example it might face being scrutinised by doctors, scientists, the media, in addition to any other challenges,

Yeah it would be awful for that soul/conciousness the attention it would draw
 
Even if the physical body is a clone, I suppose the clone will have individual convictions and thoughts. If that cloned body can make a random soul experience new experiences, I do not see that it is impossible to reincarnate into a clone.

The physical body is very similar or identical, but the soul is something different. I think it would be possible to reincarnate in a body (Copy of the original) as long as you learn something.

Anyway, souls are always looking for bodies, more than one would be interested in reincarnating in that body, even if it is a clone.
 
But there are others subject to such scrutiny, for example the first test-tube babies, or other examples, not necessarily involving anything abnormal, but just of rare type, such as septuplets.
 
It’s my conviction that a soul doesn’t limit itself to inhabit organic vessels.
Just saying, as it transcends human reincarnation and thusfore not being part of the content of this forum, I’ll leave it here.
But just the thought that there might be a difference in souls of bodies that resulted from different reproduction methods is so weird. How did this come to your mind, Brisky? A body is just a body.

They already starting to think down these lines, you can or rather your parents can freeze stem cells from the umbilical cord. For your future now

I have to believe that Louise Brown and any other cloned people do indeed have spirits.
Strange that it has been found that organ recipients sometimes gain some memories of the donors. Quite something to contemplate.
