Ancient Egypt

Hey everyone! Not fair to me either, I have to go to bed soon! But I am interested in this thread! I have some memories I will have to share later. But, I can say that I have always loved Atlantis, and I have a deep connection to it, and to Egypt. I too may have been in a tavern somewhere messing up instead of studying Horus. But I will say I have always had a deep connection to Anubis not Horus. Mayhaps I was an initiate? Help me out guys? Was I some kind of lesser preist studying Anubis the dark, rather than Horus the light? What do you think? I am a right handed path girl in this day and age, but I feel a connection to Kali, Inanna, Anubis, Atropos. Bob, any help for me with your talents would be welcome. Charles, more on Atlantis? I might have a memory of that, not Minoan Crete, like I thought. ANY help from any of you guys. I don't think you are crazy! Or if you are, I am in good company : )

Dazed and confused,; )

Annubis and Horus are the Greek interpetations of Egyptian Gods. Egyptians called them Anpu and Heru. If your past life Egyptian memories use Greek terms I would wonder about their authenticity!

Thanks Szofie and Fitzy. Fitzy, my Cretan memory had nothing to do with Egypt. I believe Egypt was one of my earliest, if not the first lifetime, I had. I called them by their Greek names, because that is what we all are taught to call them nowadays, not Anpu/Heru. Also, let me say, I was up very late and very tired when I wrote that, so forgive the lack of clarity! : ) Great info for me though! I have always liked Anpu, Innana, Ashtarte, Kali, Atropos, Lord of the Wild Hunt, The Morrigan, better than the other aspects. I don't think they are bad. But I did have a fellow witch who told me I shouldn't play with those energies. She insisted any motion made be clockwise, or deosil. While I myself have always favored windershins. She had me questioning myself a little. Your information helped me Szofie, I really appreciate it!
Blessings,

This thread is a bit old, but I'll post anyway. At 7 years old I had a very vivid vision of ancient Egypt. Later I found out that what transpired in my vision (posted elsewhere on this site) could ONLY have been known by the Pharoah Thutmose IV, (not a famous Pharoah), the grandfather/great-grandfather, depending on which Egyptologist you are reading, of King Tut.
Contrary to popular belief, the practice of burying salves, etc. with the king was practiced only in pre-dynastic & possibly very early dynastic periods, many hundreds of years before the construction of the great pyramids at Giza. By the time the pyramids were built servants, etc. who were to accompany the king to the after life were represented by tomb paintings, sculptures, etc.

Looking for connections to 18th Dynasty Egypt

As I have posted in other topics about a spontaneous memory at 7 yrs. old which upon research when I was older turned out to be something that could only have been remembered by the 18th Dyanasty Pharoah Thutmose IV-- (erection of the Dream Steale between the feet of the Sphinx), so I won't repeat myself here. Other memories of this life (as well as my spirit leaving my body in the Royal Cache at Dier el Bahairi), have surfaced over the years. If anyone else has had memories specific to this particular period or this family I would be very interested in hearing them.

My memories of 18th dynasty Egypt involve Meremptah, a stonescribe who worked at Waset writing on temple and castle walls and columns. When I see pictures of modern Karnak I always visualize them as they were then, so lush and beautiful with plants and colorful artwork. A later life in this same setting involved invading Greeks and being hidden in a secret chamber under stones in the floor, with the task of guarding the sacred texts of Amon. The priests who hid me were killed and to this day the chamber and my bones have not been recovered.

Hi Kris.
Do you really want to know the secrets of how they were built?
Answer - there are no great secrets at all, just a really well organised building operation (which the Egyptologists are now familiar with). The magic of the pyramids comes not from their building, but from the aura that still surrounds them.
The mystery/spirtuality of the time was something enormous and the magic lingers on. The answers do not lie in the stones themselves, but in the spirituality that lives on amongst them.
The pyramids hold many secrets. But again they are spiritual secrets. They are a signpost to some, wonderful enough to trigger thoughts from a long time ago. They are the key to many mysteries.
But we all that same pyramid within our own minds and have to search for the answers from within.
So ask 'why were the pyramids built' to find the most worthwhile answers of all.

Thanks, Gemini, for answering my question. The question you raise is harder to answer. I have heard different answers to it from different historians/archeologists. Do you have an answer of your own or one that you prefer?
Kris

Hi again Kris.
Well I'm going to do my best to answer. Here goes.
The pyramid is based on a very special shape which is seen by many during their meditations. The reason behind that - I really don't know. I am not alone in having been able to see three dimensional 'floating' pyramids in brilliant light. It was something I talked about on another thread here at some stage.
Pyramids appear not only in Egypt, but also China and many other places. Very similar structures have been found around the world and all of them ancient. I think the 'light' pyramid has been appearing to people for a VERY long time, and those that have seen it know it's special and of deep spiritual significance.
If I were good at building things and didn't live in an area of England where planning permission is needed for placing two bricks together (!!)and I'd seen my 'vision', I'd want to build one. (Probably good that I can't since I imagine the result would be hilarious).
But if these same visions have been seen through the ages, then spiritual beings across the world would have wanted to recreate them. As the visions come from somewhere so deeply spiritual, it would make sense to build such a structure for the dead. You would want them to enter the realm that could send you such a wonderful thing. And the bigger you could build it, the closer you would reach towards...well whoever it is that sends the vision, since they obviously aren't 'of this world'.
Hope this all makes sense.
Gemeni.

Hello Gemeni and Deborah, I am serious this time. Look, no more smilies or winkies.

Pyramid structure was fairly common in different parts of the world, including the new world. I suspect that they were not inspired by the same motif. In Mexico and South America, pyramids were sites of pretty horrific and gruesome human sacrifices. Specifically, one Mexican pyramid had a temple to some God atop it where humans were killed to extract their hearts which was then offered to this God. Now tell me if all pyramids are alike.

Kris

Hi Kris,

Well, let's put this into perspective a little. Sometimes an original spiritual ritual or ceremony -- over the years is altered by those that have lost touch with the original intention. Look at any religion and this is usually the case.

Human sacrifice was started by the Aztec; the Olmec thrived in 1500BC; the Classic era of the Mayan 250 - 900 AD. The Aztec took over after 1325 AD with little understanding of the original intention of the temples, icons or pyramids.

Sacrifices were seen as gifts to the Gods. One of my references said that his vision suggested that the Priests could SEE the ethereal body of the sacrificed person rising to the heavens. Imagine the impact -of this vision if they had lost the original purpose and intention behind the pyramids?

Just a thought

Hi again Kris.
The symbol may have been seen by people in many parts of the world, but how they chose to use it in their own religious ceremonies would vary. You see you get to see the plan of the construction - but it doesn't come with instructions!!!
Does that make sense to you?
Gemeni.

Hi Deborah and Gemeni,

Thank you both for your replies. I recently watched a show on the history of Mexico. The narrator who seemed a pretty knowledgeable historian type, indicated at one point that human sacrifices is the common thread that runs deeply through almost all the known civilizations in the Americas. It appears not to be a one time or a short time aberration. If I was attentive to the show, it seemd to indicate that the pyramids in Americas were built by the people for the purpose of sacrificing humans to the gods.

The impact of the vision of ethereal body rising, if anything, should have convinced the sacrificer that what he gave to the gods was the less important part (e.g. the heart)of the the sacrificed human being. That did not seem to have happened.

I realize though that we come later than these earlier people and have the benefit of their knowledge and experience.

I have never had any real interest or feelings of connection to ancient Egypt in the past, never paid too much attention to any historical details or had any fascination or anything with any of their culture... until recently a vague memory of a past life resurfaced and began to bit by bit piece together a connection to Egypt. I am still not sure what it all means or how it all fits together either.. But, I will share a little of it, and my thoughts on it. The past life I started to remember was that of a young girl, I believe somewhere in Sumaria or Babylon with a connection to a temple of Inana. From what I have pieced together so far, I was from a fairly well off family, my father held an important position and always seemed surrounded and occupied with entertaining important serious strange looking- to me- men. I had a number of older sisters as well as younger ones... I don't have any recall of any brothers. I can see myself watching out an upper level window as my older sisters leave and never return. I know that they are getting married and I know that I don't want to be next in line, preferring a life at this temple to being married off.... for a long time I was content with this vague memory and never recalled any more about it, so I assumed that I probably ended up in the temple and there was no more significance to the memory.

Recently just a few weeks ago, however, a wierd connection came in a very disturbing vision and experience. I had a very upsetting vision/experience that still puzzles and confuses me. Part of it was a rather simple flash of a calm quiet peaceful place and the name of Amenhotep burning into my head so that it was still flashing when I came to.... the other part was a horrible experience and vision of being smothered, buried alive so to speak... Now, I too know that slaves and servants were not buried with later dynasties of Egyptians... I believe that what ever happened to me was accidental, or personal foul play by some one else's hand.

In the past few weeks, some other images and memories have begun to surface of this life and I think that what happened was that as this young girl in Babylon, instead of being able to continue on at the temple, I was indeed next in line to be married off. And, as a result of the marriage I ended up in Egypt, one of many wives. A later flash of the Amenhotep revealed that it was Amenhotep III and not the first one. I had no idea intially even who he might be or anything about him... after doing a brief search, more just to verify and reassure myself that he even existed or was a real person, I found that he was considered somewhat of an international diplomat for the time and there is evidence and documentation of his diplomatic ties and connections to Babylon, he often used marriage to strengthen those ties and as a result amassed a rather large harem of foriegn wives.

Past live in ancient Egypt

Does anyone have any memories of a past life in ancient Egypt about 5000 years ago? I seem to have memories of this time. Perhaps it's only my imagination running wild.

Hi there,
I have memories of several different times in Egypt, starting from around the time of Menes. I wasn't looking for memories but found Egypt managed to call me by bombarding me with synchronicities until I had to find out what was going on. Finding out about it all has been the most remarkable experience and given me a completely new outlook on life and confidence in the future.
I thought it was my imagination at first, but now I know it couldn't have been. It turns out I know a lot more than I should be able too.
And I did miss it so much...but now have managed to get a ticket back via mediation.
I really can't recommend researching it highly enough.

more on Egypt

Here is what I KNOW about Egypt, as I know it to be true today:
1. The Egyptian civilization was far more advanced than most people today can fathom.
2. The Great Pryamids were built very easily using a technology "we" or "our society as a whole" has forgotten or has been locked away.
3. There was another race, or race similiar to humans that communicated directly to that culture.
4. Most of the Egyptian knowledge is closely guarded today.
5. It is almost time for the pyramid to be recapped.

Can anyone confirm any of this?

Jason

Hi again Jason.
I think you're going to get a huge amount of input from those questions, so I hope you have a computer with lots of space!!
Anyway I'll give you some to start the ball rolling.
From what I've managed to discover of my own connections, the special thing to me was the spiritual beliefs.
I don't have a memory of being a particular person, so I can't give you names and addresses (!!) but my memories stretch from the early days, through to around the time of Akhenaten when I ended up elsewhere.
My very first memory used to come to me in a recurring dream as a child. I now believe that I was a Muu Dancer (male, though I'm female now) (confused yet?!!) and other memories all seem to be linked to religious background. The memories are of dying, being out of the body, then dropping in later to start again. It seems to me that I knew exactly what I was doing then and could live this existance where I could move happily between realms.
After being forced to leave Egypt things seem to go wrong and I appear to have gone into random mode, probably because the spiritual training went and I got caught up in the joys of an earthly existance with all its distractions!!!
The building of the pyramids isn't something that I find draws me. I'm sure it was a brilliant operation however it was done, but the inside of them certainly holds special magic (for want of a better word).
During meditation I frequently find myself inside them and have met some very interesting people wandering around!!
From making this connection and still using meditation I was then able to move to a spot where I found what I discovered are known as light beings. (Does this all sound totally mad yet? I have to admit it did to me in the beginning...but believe me it isn't).
These are not 'aliens' as such but wonderful beings, certainly more intelligent than us and with remarkable powers. I've been shown 3D plans composed entirely of light of the pyramids and believe this is where the original plans came from. I'm told that these images are seen by many and have also been seen through the ages and across the world. This goes some way to explaining why pyramids crop up in different areas of the globe, before it was possible to fax them to one another!!!!
You're right about much of the information being guarded. Some very well known people deny any such 'strange' connections, yet say otherwise to some.
I always found it remarkably strange that Tony Blair and his wife visited the pyramids a couple of years ago, then a few weeks later went through a rebirthing ceremony. Now what can we make of that eh?!!
When we rolled into the year 2000 there was an elaborate ceremony planned to recap the Great Pyramid. It was backed by the Masons and they arranged a massive spectacular night of music and celebrations. The capping was to take place as we hit the New Year. But the Egyptians backed out and refused to let it happen. Another rather odd event really.
Over the last year I've read many interesting things about Egypt and many ridiculous theories too, but even discounting those, there's still something very special about the place.
I won't go into details but I can tell you that in the space of the last year my life has changed completely and I've found out things the like of which I'd only ever expected to see on something like Stargate. And I didn't seek any of it. Egypt called me back.
I hope I haven't sent you to sleep with all this!! I bet you're going to get loads more from others too.
Love,
Gemeni.

egypt past lives

Hi Gemini, I think I've also had a past life in ancient Egypt. I've always been skeptical but open minded about past lives, but one day it was completely quiet and there were no distractions around, I was just going about my daily routine when this word Merysekhment popped into my head. I kept thinking 'Merysekhmet, what does that mean?' the more I thought about it, I kept thinking it had something to do with ancient egypt, I wondered why I thought that because I didn't really know anything about it other than that my mother also had a fascination with egypt and was obsessed with King Tut. My mind kept telling me to look up Egyptian names, I looked it up and it was an Egyptian girl name, after a while, I had a flash of that life, I was sitting in something that looked like a court yard with my sisters and friends from that life, I recognized 1 of them as one of my best friends and the other one as one of my friends that I've known for a few years, they do not know each other in this life though.

Hi Aries,
It's amazing how these words just appear from nowhere sometimes and even more amazing what we can learn from them.
Have you ever tried meditation or any other way of trying to learn more about the memory?
Gemeni.

I have no real proof of a past life in Egypt, but when I look at a statue of Ramses II, I feel like I'm about to cry because of the beauty and power he radiates. It's hard to describe, but I feel like I was very close to him, a wife or lover maybe because I feel very attracted to him. As weird as that sounds. I really have no other proof than this strong feeling of awe when looking at his statues. His painting or his mummy don't really hold the same effect for me however, but pictures of statues are enough. I don't know how I missed this thread before, since I'd really like to try and find out more about my past life in Egypt if I had one.

I have a question I'm hoping someone can answer. I read somewhere online I think that the Egyptians supposedly left no records of how they constructed the pyramids, but I don't know if this is true. It doesn't make any sense. Can anyone tell if this information is correct?

-Thanks

(I of course meant Rastislav in my previous message - not that I am commenting about the pictures the other people have in their messages :))

Heyps, I know exactly what you mean.

1.) True. The energy usage with crystals and the usage of heart chakras was very advanced compared to our present "civilization".

2.) I think it's only the dull scientific 'there is only physical world in existence'-type mind that can produce the insane theory that the pyramids were built with DRAGGING and LIFTING those huge stones manually! Argh! When you control energy, you control matter too.

3.) True. Those races are still among us and some of them visit from time to time. Our 'cosmic brothers' have always been with us, but we make it very difficult for them to come here with our hostile attitude to anything 'external', let alone 'extraterrestrial'.

4.) Closely guarded? Hm. Do you know about the Rosetta stone? I think that was the key to unlock the mystery of the hieroglyphs - now all I would really like to know is what the hieroglyphs actually SAY - do you know? Does anyone know? (I don't)

What do you mean by closely guarded btw? I have found pretty easily information about the truth of ancient egypt. But maybe I am just lucky in these things.. I seem to be accidentally bumping into very rare information.

5.) Well, it's about TIME! :) To see it again in it's full, metallic-like, shining glory! Too bad the earthquakes had to happen to loosen the plates for the thieves to pick up and then sell.. I wonder what happened to the plates themselves though. Do you have information of this?

I don't know much, but what I do know is very, very interesting, and very much differs from what people are taught to believe (blindly) by the mind-numbing schools of earth.

p.s. does anyone know how to turn the vB code and smilies off?

Question

Hi Peter,

Do you have access to an image that shows the name of the pharaoh on the Great Pyramid? I think -- if I remember correctly -it was in red?

Does anyone who remembers Ramses II's time recall anything about the biblical Exodus? Ramses the Great is generallt agreed as the Pharoh during the Exodus. I was just wondering if anyone remembers that.

Elle

Hi Deborah,

You seem to be trying to say something; twice you have alluded to the name of a pharoh being in red. What is it you're trying to say?

Al

AAAAAHHHHHHHHHH

No questions -- no answers. I am asking for information from Peter regarding the name of the Pharaoh -- and how it was applied to the wall. Dialogue follows.

Peter likes evidence - but .....evidence can change. S*S*
The term "history" has dual meaning; it refers both to the events that make the history and the scholarly discipline that deals with these events. There are no plain facts in history -- only degrees of plausibility. Every statement no matter how fully documented -- is subject to doubt, and remains a fact only as long as no one questions it. Every condition that lays as a fact in history is temporary, and the field is too vast for anyone to encompass all of it with equal competence.

Hi Deborah,

You make it sound as if history is some sort of nebulous, I-can-believe-it-if-I-want-to, subject that may be changed simply by questioning it.

Facts remain facts. Period. Questioning a point doesn't change it's existence and to say that there are "no plain facts in history" flies in the face of logic. Either certain things happened or they didn't.

In the case of the pyramids, I find it implausible (to use your word) that they were built by anti-gravity devices, implausible that they are dormant energy generators, and implausible that the civilization that built them was more "advanced than we can fathom". And the reason I find it implausible is because there has been no evidence presented that suggests otherwise - just the fanciful dreams of someone who says he "knows". True, great discoveries have been made on the basis of "hunches", but those "hunches" were followed up by research of one sort or another.

Al

:D

my my

You know Aligator - I teach art history at the College level. Historians know that their "facts" change all the time. That's what makes the study of history so exciting!

As to the rest of your comments about how the Great Pyramid was built - my post never suggested any of what you are ranting about.
