A very big mystery for me.

Ahhotep

Ahhotep

Hello Everyone. I came into this forum just to read, and I can't express how interested everyones experiences are! I said to myself I have to join maybe they can help me because they are embarking on their own truths as well. I am so excited to be here with everyone.

First thing I am going to confess. I am a christian and we do not believe in reincarnation. Christians think that people who have these beliefs are walking in the wrong path in life....However we do not rub into peoples faces that your wrong I'm right. We believe that is wrong.

Well I was one of those people I NEVER BELIEVED IN IT AND YOU COULD NOT MAKE ME...UNTILL NOW. Untill it happened to me. My goal is to find out who I am and what is being shown to me. It takes my breath away.

Here is my story...

When I was a teenager I started having dreams that felt so real. I would wake up uneasy worried, and usually I would think about it all day. I had several dreams over a period of time. They seem to pick up sometimes where they left, sometimes they would reaccur.

When I got older I desided to do regression. I did and came up with a lot of (to me at the time) stuff my mind had made up. I wrote everything down, did research and I FLIPPED OUT. The stuff I recalled like places, times, and so on was true to history. So I became a believer. A few weeks ago I had another dream. It has been a long time since I had any. So that is how I got here.

A short description of my dreams.
I am a woman in the desert staring at two sides of worriers. I stand beside a man who has a shaven head waiting for my say so for the war to begin. The other side has a statue of the God Seth with them. They have horses, we do not.
The next dream I give the order we fight. A lot of people die on both sides. Dead bodies everywhere. I am taken into hiding.

The next dream I am walking up the stairs of a temple the man who has the shaven head sets with a woman standing with him. Behind him is a pool of water. There are no walls or ceilings.

Next dream I am speaking a different language and reading a scroll. I read for a while and then woke up.

The information from the regresstion lead to a woman named Ahhotep from the the 18th dynesty from Eygpt. There were several women named Ahhotep. She had a husband named seqen II. He was also her brother. They had to two kids both boys. He died in war. She helped lead wars and train soldiers. They were fighting the hykoses. They had already taken over almost all of Eygpt. They worshiped the God Seth and commanded the Eygptians to by their leader. They were an army of many different cultures they also introduced the horse to the egyptians.
The man who had the shaven head gave me a message. That I still can help people, and that is what he wants me to do.

I didn't know about this person and her life until I did the past life regression. I am still looking for answers. I feel like there is something unfinished that I have to do. Which is very odd.
I read a post about 'Why does everybody claim to have a famous past life?'. That was a great question even I wondered about. This presented me with a problem that I cannot fully explain.
I can only say that Ahhotep was respect for what she did, and my information lead to this person through regression. I didn't know her and I didn't know about the hykoses taking over Egypt.

Sorry for going on and on! I do wish you well.
Thank you for reading. :)

Hello Ahhotep,

I have memories of being the adopted daughter of Queen Ahhotep and King Sequenenre Tao II. My father in that life was a good friend of the King and had a high position, in the army or political I think. So after my parents died in a fire which might have been an attack, King Sequenenre decided to let me live at the palace.
Ahmose, the youngest son, and later the founder of the 18th dynasty, was my best friend. He was 3 years younger than me. I believe Kamose, who became King after Sequenenre died, was also an adopted son and my biological brother, but I am not really sure about that. All I know is that I felt deeply connected to Kamose, like he was the only one that I had left from my family.
There were also two daughters, somewhat older than me, and they couldn't stand me ! They never accepted me into the family, and always tried to humiliate me and remind me of the fact that I was not of royal descent. However, they did this in a sneaky way, because Sequenenre, and his mother, Queen Tetisheri, didn't approve of their behavior. Queen Ahhotep, well, I feel she was on her daughters's side, but she treated me rather well. Sometimes she showed some compassion for me, but mostly she 'turned her head' when she found out her daughters were teasing me.
I believe I was killed at the age of 12 during a raid at the palace in the early morning hours. I remember I went out of my room to go to the temple for my morning prayers, and wondering why all the torches were out in the corridor. The next thing I remember is feeling a smash on the back of my head, and that was it. Somehow I think Kamose was killed at the same time, or shortly after that. I am sure he was not killed before me, because I get no feelings or memories about his death or funeral.
I think the names of the daughters were Nefertari and Meritamen. My name was also Meritamen. I also believe I recognized my current life sister as the oldest daughter, Nefertari. (Her behavior towards me in the present is much like in that past life, lol, and she does show some 'royal' attitudes !)
I know Queen Ahhotep was very much loved, and she was great in ruling during Kamose's abscence (he even rewarded her with the Golden Bees, a special jewel that is still kept somewhere in a museum).

Welcome to the forum !

What I find most interesting is your statement that they had horses and you did not. The Hyskos were the peoples who introduced the horse to Egypt. Kamose and Ahmose were the two kings, and founders of the 18th dynasty, who led the civil war to rid Egypt of Hyskos domination. Since it was some 100 years or so after the Hyskos took control, the Egyptians fighting them should have had horses as well though.

Em hotep Ahhotep. *S* I have greatly enjoyed reading your post, being an Egyptian (past) myself. I have always had strong feelings for Sequenre Tao and others around that era, even though I know I was not alive during that time myself. I was a short while afterwards, during the reigns of Tuthmosis I, II, and Hatshepsut. The stories of the expulsion of the Hyksos, that my mother told me as a child, had a great impact on my life back then - that whole family was revered by Egyptians during my time.
I study Egyptology now, with a focus on the 18th Dynasty, so if you ever want to chat about anything, please don't hesitate to drop me a line (saauhatshepsut@gmail.com).

Peter V>> While the Hyksos had been ruling for a fair amount of time before Sequenre Tao rose up, it was a very segregated situation. They stayed in the north, specifically the city of Avaris, and as far as I know didn't extend very far south at all. (I think there was a failed attempt to unite with the Nubian rulers against the remaining Egyptians, but that never got off the ground - I'll have to check my books for the precise details). This was largely because the Egyptians had 'set up shop' down in Thebes and had their own ruling dynasty, known as the Theban Princes.
I can imagine that the last thing the Hyksos would have wanted would be the Egyptians building up a calvary or chariot force, considering the edge it gave them in battle.
I don't know whether any horses were used on the Egyptian side during the wars against the Hyksos - I haven't studied that period well enough, considering my focus is slightly later - but I know they didn't come into popularity until later in the 18th Dynasty.

Cheers,

Saau

Welcome to the forum Ahhotep! :)

You have fascinating memories. I think I once lived in Ancient Egypt or neighbouring areas, but unfortunately I have only one vision and some intuitive feelings about this life - nothing as detailed as you have.

I'm a bit ashamed of this, but I'm reading the most credited Finnish book ever, The Egyptian, only now. :o I mean I'm ashamed I haven't read it earlier, but it's great to find some validating things from it (I believe it's quite accurate in historical information).

There are many other people with Egyptian past lives here and I suggest you do a search with the word "Egypt" if you're interested in their stories!

Karoliina

Ahhotep,

I am curious. Are your ideas regarding reincarnation going to affect your ideas towards Christianity?

Hey people how are you? I am very thankful for you replies. Saau Hatshepsut I would love to know more about Ahhopet the first. I think there were 3 people named Ahhopet. I bet your story is very interesting. :)

Karoliina Hey I have read some of your posts about being nubain, if I remember correctly. I didn't know that there would be so many people connected to Egyptian past lives. I guess its because the Egyptians had a LONG history. Thanks for the advice I certainly will look into it.

Peter V Yeah I wondered about that as well untill I did some research on it. I thought the same thing. Eventually the Thebians attianed horses. Ahhotep oldest son made great use with the charots he made them lighter for battle.

Hey Evee you have an interesting story. :) I read it several times lol
I think the names of the daughters were Nefertari and Meritamen. My name was also Meritamen.

I know somewhat about them from research. Ahmose's wife was named Nefertari. They had 4 duaghters, and 3 sons.
Merytamun - eldest daughter of Ahmose-Nefertari (died young)
Satamun - 2nd daughter of Ahmose-Nefertari (died infant)
Aahotep - 3rd daughter of Ahmose-Nefertari (Queen)
Satkames - 4th daughter of Ahmose-Nefertari (died aged ~30)
Henttameh- daughter of Thenthapi
Ahmose - daughter

Sapair - eldest son of Ahmose-Nefertari (died young)
Saamen - 2nd son of Ahmose-Nefertari (died infant)
Amenhotep I - 3rd son of Ahmose-Nefertari (King)

Maybe I helped out some Evee. Thanks guys for the info it honestly helps.
Thanks Everyone :D

Oh My Gosh Great Question!

buntaro-Gosh that is such a great question!
Well The answer to that is no...Because in my religion our God said (paraphrasing) that if he told everything this world could not contain it all. So I believe that you can't be narrow minded...It doesn't hender me it just makes me think that there is so much more in this world that we have not yet discovered. I believe finding this out has made me actually more, I guess spiritual and loving toward people. I guess because of the role she played in caring for her people. :)
I could not walk up to a preacher and say "Oh I believe in reincarnation now!" lol Because it would just cause a fight. I don't want that either.

I know what I believe. I think things will come to us in time. I am happy and interested in other peoples experiences, because I understand completely now.

Thanks for writing in!
Means a lot! :)

Ahhotep,

It sounds like you are now a reincarnation-closet-believer. It is a difficult road to travel. As a matter of fact, there is a thread about it.

I would be curious to hear your reaction to the thread.

Images May Have Some Hidden Archetypal Meaning

It's hard to know if dreams come from somewhere outside of us like a message or whether we create them out of the residues of our own life experience captured in our brains. You do seem to be getting a message in your descriptions of the dreams but one of the specific images particularly intrigues me: shaved heads. I have some of these "shaved heads" in my dreams and in a few cases I also know that they are real people from my recent past. I have interpreted the "shaved head" profile to be a reflection of their status for me today. Basically, these shaved creatures had their power over me stripped away. They are diminished in stature. Like castration in a way in the sense of eunichs. Possibly gender neutral (not male or female). Some dreams feel like a real slap in the face psychologically, almost like saying not so subtlely: pay attention to me! Warring armies could be a little internalized conflict or just a projection of the current war in Iraq. I have detailed dreams of the Mesopotamian region especially near bodies of water rather than Egypt...I would be interested to know if you have any thoughts about my shaved head interpretation. Shaved heads seems kind of cruel and dehumanizing, like war. I sense you are a dispassionate observer in your dreams, is that correct? Rather than an excited participant? I get into the action sometimes and even feel somehow reflective during the dream. I think a thought and then the dream action changes.

buntaro thanks for leading me to that thread I read through it and I left a reply on how I feel about it.

I have told my mother and some other members of my family about it. They seem to have no problem with me believing in past lives. I joke with my mother sometimes and "Oh I believe you were a something or someone in your past life" and she laugh and carries on with me.

But as I said in my reply to the thread you showed me, I am a christian and I am not ashamed of it...and I believe in reincarnation and I am not ashamed of it niether. :)

Hope we talk soon
Thank you :D

The man with the shaven head...

Hi Talks-to-Trees I can tell you are very observant to the post here thank you :)

Well as for the interpetation...In my dreams I felt as if I was there in two ways. As an Observer and as the person. The dreams were long so I gave a short summery of them. I didn't feel dispassionate, I felt upset worried and furious with the enemy. I stood between the line, to my right were my men. I knew what was ahead of them and to my left were the hykoses. They surrounded a statue of seth he was a dark God. That made me even more outraged. I had to make one of the hardest choices and I could feel the preasure. I did not want my men to die.

The man who had the shaven head was 30-40. He wore white, he had peircing eyes, and he looked as though he was wise. I felt I could trust him. I did. In my regression he gave me a message and at the end of it. He said something like it isn't over yet...

These dreams I had them in my teen years. Then I had one recently. I think we can tell a normal dream from one that is meant to be notice. :)

I drew a picture of the man with the shaved head I might be able to show him to you through the creative corner.

Your conclusions about the shaven heads may be right. :)
Thank you for writing

Talks-to-Trees>> In terms of living in Egypt, shaven heads was more of a practicality than anything else. Lice and the like were common, so having no hair helped control the problem, as well as keeping you cooler during the heat of the day, and making it easier to wear the wigs we were all so fond of.
I know that I had a shaved head, and displayed it with pride.
One order of priests, the 'wab' (trans. "pure ones"), took it one step further - they would demonstrate their purity by shaving their whole bodies. Noble children were another example, they would have their heads shaven but for a distinctive sidelock (note, in my time, this was *just* the higher classed children).

Certainly today some people might consider the loss of hair in a negative light, but back then it was normality, and sometimes even a mark of stature.

Cheers,

Saau

Anger May Be The Emotional Connection With The Event

:) Emotions can be our connection to events that linger in our memory, even events form a past life. The anger you spoke about in your reply makes sense to me given the context but it also may have created the feeling that this dream was "important" for you in some way. Maybe it was a "power dream" beginning to come to the surface of your consciousness; and perhaps it was also the gateway to the collective unconscious and you have become able to tap into that energy and it comes as a "rush" like water. The problem is that the "bad" stuff comes through with the "good" stuff so it can take some time to process it all. I think you have tapped into your larger psyche beyond the daily personality and you even have some guides to help you along the way. The guides act like anchors, can be communicated with in some way, and generally act to root you in the dream experience that can be disturbing at times. You may have projected the Egyptian cultural iconography onto these substantial fellows. Just see them as the good guys, they will come and go from the dreamscape almost as needed.

I get the feeling that you are getting a glimpse of your soul, the larger entity where the karmic connection to you earthbound being exists. "Not wanting your men to die" could be a sense of powerlessness at the larger events in your life. I'm talking symbolically here, but the minds dream life is often very symbolic we just don't really know what the symbols mean. Maybe the men represent the "guilt" that is part of the karmic connection that carries over to you today from other lifetimes. They also could represent all the lives you have lived in the past, the battles won and lost over the centuries. You may be a bit awestruck at the magnitude of that powerful experience. In some way, we are all connected at the soul level, either through direct karmic type connections or through the collective unconscious. The "white being" could be an archetypal projection of your personality like the anima/animus that Jung talks about. You may want to research that because we all have a male/female twin that we deal with psychologically and this can also come through in the dreams as "enlightened beings". It is all "us", it is just the real "us" is a much bigger thing spiritually than we expect. Bigger, more powerful and inherently more complicated than society has taught us to believe.

Hi Ahhotep,

Welcome to the forum! You have a very nice way of dealing with your pastlife knowledge and your personal faith. That is very nice and indicates a well evolved soul... ;)

I was also raised a Christian and nowadays have no problems believing in the messages of Jesus and the concept of reincarnation. In fact, I started a thread in the "Reincarnation Questions" section called Elijah and John the Baptist - A Case of Reincarnation Mentioned in the Bible that I believe you will find interesting.

Love,

Charles

Hi Ahhotep,
I don't have any memories of being an ancient Egyptian (I don't really have any concrete memories at all) but I'm Egyptian in this life, so this thread caught my interest :) But also, like you, I was a Christian at one point, and tried out a lot of churches, till I recently started believing in reincarnation. There's no reason you shouldn't continue to believe in both, if that's your choice. Organized religion isn't for me, but I think to each their own, and God is God, no matter how you worship him. Good luck!

Hi Aurora,

I think the question here is one of misunderstanding a concept: reincarnation is not contrary to being a Christian, although it is contrary to the Catholic and Protestant dogmas, quite the opposite. Jesus spoke in his days in terms that could be understood by the people of 2000 years ago. He could not extend much further, for the understanding of those days could not grasp the concepts of God, future lives, karma, reincarnation...

It is only now, at the predicted times, that mankind has reached the evolutionary stage to undestand such concepts. Reincarnation is the third revelation as predicted in the bible. Under more careful study, one can actually perceive that reincarnation is entirely in agreement with the messages of the Christ.

I do not wish here to impose personal beliefs, but I do think it is fair that I should share my understanding, and such understanding IS available to us nowadays, if we search and know where and how to look.

Christian Spiritism is not a religion, as such, but rather a philosophy. There are no Spiritualist "churches" or "temples" or "religious leaders and priests". Spiritism is known as the the "Spirit of Truth", also predicted in the bible, and it has no leaders, but consists of the efforts of many, within their own hearts, to search for understanding, also in communication with the spiritual realms through mediumnity. It is also referred to as the "Great Consoller", for the answers contained in it do have the capacity to generate greater understanding and acceptance.

The philosophy of Spiritualism is founded on the messages received and compiled by Allan Kardec in the 1840's, but has since then far extended the initial messages and understanding, thanks to the combined efforts of MANY.

Reincarnation is not contrary to the messages of Jesus. The concept of reincarnation is entirely in agreement with them and, in fact, reinforces and explains them.

All it takes is to read, study and search... ;)

The present moment in time is a crucial one. The knowledge of reincarnation, understood under the correct light, is of crucial importance in the development and evolution of mankind.

Hi Charles, thanks for the reply. I've heard that early Christians believed in reincarnation and such, but never really looked into it much. I do have a question though - if reincarnation exists, then why do we need a savior (according to Christianity)? If we need a savior, then what's the point in living life after life? Of course I don't mean any offense towards Christians (I've been one myself). From my point of view, since I've been a part of many religions in my life, because one side of my family is Muslim and the other is Christian, I just find any organized religion limiting. I find a lot of good in every religion, especially Christianity for me because reading the Bible has always made me feel at peace, but at the same time, there's just a lot of things I don't agree with as well.

Hi Aurora,

To me also, it is perfectly understandable that there should be many things you do not agree with.

The reference to Jesus as Savior, I believe, is not in Jesus himself, but in his messages of love, charity and peace. The "Love thy neighbor as thyself" message is as true and necessary today as it ever was, and now, with the knowledge of the reality of reincarnation and the Law of Cause and Effect, it becomes even clearer.

The need for reincarnation is because, imperfect as we are, one lifetime is not suffice for us to reach the stage of spiritual evolution necessary to enter the Higher Realms and the Realms of Heaven. The beauty of reincarnation is precisely in the fact that we are leaving behind concepts such as an eternal hell, for we ALL, without exception, are sons of God, and will ALL eventually achieve the promised peace and happiness of the Higher Spiritual Realms.

Sadly, during the last 2000 years, mankind has still been under the influence of the "Leaders of the Temples", the "Institutionalized Religions", precisely that which Jesus attacked the most: that the use of "Religion" and the "Name of God" should be used for personal urges of money, power and the domination of masses. It is sad, but it is true...

With love,

Charles

Hi again,

Just wanted to add that, according to messages received from the Spiritual Realms, it matters not which religion one is connected to. This is of lesser importance. Just as long as the person practices and observes the "Love thy neighbor as thyself" law, this person will certainly evolve in Spirit and be closer to the "Kingdoms of Heaven". ;)

HI Ahhotep,

I have a couple of questions - if you don't mind. I remember Ancient Egypt -3500BC - along time ago. ;) I am curious about the little things. Does the pool of water behind the woman hold any signifigance for you? Do you remember the Gods of Egypt and what they meant to you?

I find it fascinating that your memories are so grounded in the history; of the war of the time, and not the romantic part of the time and place. I am also intrigued that in your dreams you are speaking another language. This is a rare thing for most individuals and indicates to me it is something beyond a normal dreaming state.

I will dig up a quote by Scwaller de Lubicz for you - that I think you might enjoy - it addresses your post with regard to being Christian. ;)

BTW - Welcome.

Lubicz wrote a book called Sacred Science regarding Ancient Egyptian belief's: in it he stated the following.

"Two ways that distinguish those how have renounced from those who remain subject to desire or must still taste the joys and sorrows of this life. Is it religion? No, it is more than faith: for some it is knowledge of the divine world-ordering WORD, and this knowledge is also the sacred science.

For others it is an inevitable order: Believers or doubters, they suffer the consequences of all the causes generated by their actions. This is the undirected road, the most logical, sure, and comforting of laws; it leaves each one to judge for himself what he is, what he understands, and what are his hopes.

The path of Osiris is not imposed by anyone; it is the reality of Nature that dictates. From the moment a man is born on earth, he enters a cycle he cannot escape until the cause of disharmony, which he himself created, have been exhausted.

To believe or not to believe is one and the same for the natural course of the Osirian way. Be good, be just, be charitable, and the sooner you will reap ILLUMINATION. Be evil, be cruel, be egotistical, whether you believe or not, you will pay.

Hi Deborah,

Thank you for sharing. That is beautiful... ;) :)

Your quote reminded me of a passage I read once from a psychographed book by a Spirit called André Luiz, in which he mentions that, upon one of his visits to Earth, he sees an ambulance passing by with a very illuminated man on the passenger seat. This man was actually shining. His Spiritual Master, who was beside him, then explains to him that the man is a doctor, and that, although an atheist, his Spirit was shining because he was pondering over what procedures he should follow to save another man's life... ;)

BTW: Master, in portuguese, also means Teacher.
