A past life?

Ever since I was a child my mom says that I loved Japan. When I was younger (age 8) I would watch Japanese game shows without subtitles and understand them. I drew pokemon fanart in japanese. I'm not japanese. It confused my parents.
Is that a clue to my past life? That I'm drawn to Japan? Japanese also comes really easily to me for some reason. My family believes in past lives heavily.

It's likely. I've always been drawn to France, and have recently discovered a past life there. I've also been deeply interested in WW2 and moved by the Holocaust. As it turns out, my past life had connections with both.

It might be worth doing a regression, when you're not likely to be swayed by 'biased' thoughts. Ie. When you're not too caught up in the ideas.

Hello nico,
a warm welcome to you.

Being drawn to an era or culture or both often is a clue, but without memories you cannot be sure. (In my case it is a lot of different stuff... like I got fragments of over a dozen lives.)
In my opinion, you understanding Japanese without being taught is a very strong indicator. Not all skills carry over, but in your case you seem to remember the language that once was your mother tongue.
Do you have any memories of your life in Japan? Could be interesting to find out more.

Welcome to the forum, nico!

You may have had some past life in Japan or Asia. Usually when you feel that something is too appealing or you feel an intuitive connection to some culture, it means something.

I recommend that a regression might solve your doubts about it. Sometimes we like things but we didn't have a life there, and sometimes, it's obvious that something is happening to feel an unexplainable attraction. Personally something similar happened to me, but with French and English. I don't speak those languages perfectly, but when I was a little girl I understood many words. You will never be completely sure of a past life in Japan if you don't check it out for yourself. Try a regression or try meditating, that can help a lot.

I agree I'm drawn to Greece for some reason, i suspect I have a anicent greek connection, Ive been to Greece about 15 times now (practically every summer)

As others have said open the box and find out but just be prepared in case there is any strong emotions, it wouldn't surprise me at all given that so many people have a PL connection to Japan and Asia in general as those nations have supported large populations for so long though I am sad for Japan.
