Back in August 2018, billeurope started a discussion in Reincarnation Questions. The question was asked; is it possible to gain access to abilities we develop in past incarnations?
This question has prompted me to tell a short story of an experience given me concerning another past life.
I was in India at this time, 6th June 2010. I was in my room meditating when I had a vision of an incredible beautiful colour. This vision opened in revealing a 'deep dark purple', a very royal colour it was. I scribbled down in haste what I received that day after meditation; but only now do I wish that I had paid more attention to the "messenger" and not just to the message.
There is no way I could identify or describe to you who this was, as only the colour was given me and not the person in question. When I asked for the name I received: AHVIK.
The following is the message;
He told me that he and I were very close in another lifetime. We were Kashmerians and both lived in the Himalayan Hills. He told me to try harder in my spiritual practices. He also said that I have gained much spiritual knowledge in my last life; try to bring it into fruition in this life.
Its all there he said, but must be worked on.
That's all I wrote in my diary that day even though there 'was' more said. After I returned to my home country I googled the name Ahvik to see what comes up. I wanted to know more because this experience left a deep impact upon me and I could not leave it alone, I had to dig deeper. After googling the name I found that my spelling was wrong as there is (no) H in the name. Below is what I googled;
Name: Avik
Gender: Male
Location: India
Language: Indian (Sanskrit)
Thematic: Unknown Thematic
Meaning: The one who doesn't fear
I post this to demonstrate that every time we incarnate, all the information from past lives lived are stored deep within the subconscious. But then again, we also come back to repay for misdeeds done and to further our progression forward.
