    Art and past lives?

As far as painting goes, anything with nearly photographic detail has always fascinated the crap out of me. Also, I get in trouble at museums when looking at Renoir or Van Gogh paintings, because I try to get way closer than I'm supposed to to REALLY see the knife and brush strokes. The act of...

Anybody remember the "in between" transition space?

I think unborn babies can absolutely move and display unique mannerisms without having been inhabited by their soul yet. Honestly, if you've ever been pregnant, you know that once you feel those fluttery movements for the first time (around 18 weeks - not even halfway through the pregnancy) you...

    Newb Reincarnation Questions

I think you'll get the best answers to your questions by reading through the Children's Past Life Memories archives. I believe that the truest, purest answers come from these small children who remember, and you will be able to read the things they say, conveyed directly by their befuddled...

    Old Soul

Well....do you believe in karma, karmic retribution, and a purpose for living the lives we live? I don't. I think our souls are as old as they are. Nobody knows how many there are, and nobody knows how long they've been around. Time isn't exactly a decent measure when you talk about souls...

    Resemblences; notable people past/present?

That would be coincidental. There are a lot of people that resemble a lot of other people from the past, whom they are not related to. It's not something that happens in many cases, and isn't considered a solid sign, like birthmarks coincidental with wounds or death-blows is. The genetics of...

    Resemblences; notable people past/present?

Human genetic types have been spreading and recombining throughout the world for as long as humans have existed. This is why families tend to show resemblance, and is also why unrelated people in far-distant cities will remind you strongly of people you know back home. Everyone has...

    Frustrated

I think you hit the nail on the head - if you're trying to do this in your own home with the children home with you, even if they are asleep, you still have to be "on" at all times. Checking out isn't a safe option, in the reality of an attentive mother of small ones, even if you want to or try!

    Decisions.....decisions....

I don't think it matters one way or another. A single lifetime is just a blink in the course of eternity, and there are so very very many things to experience. Just a little something I'm trying to ground myself with, so I don't fixate quite so hard on the roles of the people in my life that...

(my question is) are our names ?

Most parents now have a name all picked out as soon as they get their ultrasound scan that tells them the sex of the baby. I always thought that was a little weird...I mean, how do you know that that's who your baby is without having met them yet?? Sometimes a pre-chosen name fits, but...

    IVF Children

Plenty of accounts from children who say they "made the jump" so to speak very close to birth. So they didn't even really experience the majority of their gestation. Then others will report remembering being in there, and the confined tightness, and wanting to be out. So there's no set time that...

    What if?......

Think about how long people have been on this planet. There is infinite possibilities for who you could have been, where you could have been, and what you might have learned or experienced in the process. We also have glimpses of the time between lives, from children who remember and say so...

Lists of what you really like and really dislike

Indifferences: Childhood diseases Infant mortality Maternal mortality Death in general Electricity Vacations / travel (for the sake of doing so. I am not indifferent when it means I can visit or reenact one of the places or times that draw me) Slaughtering farm animals War (am...

Lists of what you really like and really dislike

I like this thread :) I will probably edit this post several times. Also, I am altering my list. I will list the things that attract me, the things that repel me, the things that I am indifferent to that usually rile up most people, and the things that are problematic for me, because sometimes...

    Movie Long Ships

Viking battle scenes never bothered me that much, but folk songs about notable people and battles from that age and place DO leave me with a feeling like my soul has swelled to almost bursting....and those are songs sung in their native languages that I can't understand a word of! Norse living...

    Resemblences; notable people past/present?

No, I don't think that guy resembles Booker T. Washington in the slightest. Completely different face shape and facial features. BUT you mentioned expression. I *do* believe that facial expressions carry over. Too many such reports from parents of kids who remember being past relatives to...

    Resemblences; notable people past/present?

Everybody belongs to an "appearance type" - this is why, everywhere you go, you'll see people that remind you of people you know. I would classify these as markers of genetics, not markers of the soul. Try it next time you go out in a crowd. See how many people you see that look like they...

    Flapper Girl - 1920s Era

If it were me, I would use New York theaters that were in operation in the 1920s as a jumping-off point for research. Looking through whatever photos you can find. You may see one that jumps out at you, rather than being just sort of like it. Architecture and interior decorating follow trends...

This cannot be memory as we know it!

There are plenty of reports from those who remember how they died in a past life that also state that they rose above or became separate from their body, and could see themselves dead and what was happening around them. I consider it an extension of the out-of-body experience that many many...

    Historical Triggers

I've got the book/CD but haven't yet taken the time to work through it.

    Historical Triggers

I do plan on getting some regression therapy eventually, so it might be possible. But just understanding how many lifetimes could be had in a 2000 year timespan, especially given that your odds of dying before age 5 were pretty good for about 1800-1900 of them....anywhere and any time is possible!
